great concept but devs are weak sauce no server side validation on movement and hitreg day one for competitive pvp feels like a cash grab release hoping it dies so they can wash there hands don't pay for the next marauders
love the concept and the gameplay is enjoyable but the current state of the community is horrid hackers are breaking the game the devs cant keep up and are disabling features like stealing walkers instead of improving anti cheat. so now the cheaters just spawn camp your cabins since they cant just take your walkers now until you run out of food so yeah its the game is the equivilant of Connor Mcgregor looks fit should be good but blows its acl our right away leaving much to be desired

The game has a lot of potential, but what makes absolutely no sense is being in a lobby with three teammates—fully loaded with loot—only for everyone to get a server connection error; then, when you log back in, it doesn't reconnect you to the session or put the loot you gathered into storage. Things like this make me want to quit the game. Damage bugs while on the turret or getting stuck and having to kill myself are one thing, but losing two hours of progress and getting nothing for it is infuriating—I’d almost rather have some guy blow up my ship and take everything.
bug是不是有点太多了,服务器是不是发芽了
Sand Raiders of Sofia has so much great potential. The world-building, atmosphere, and core concepts are fantastic, and there is clearly a solid foundation for an amazing game here. However, it unfortunately shoots itself in the foot when it comes to the very feature that is supposed to make it stand out: the massive Trampler wars. Instead of engaging in epic, tactical ship-to-ship broadside battles with long-range cannon fire, the combat instantly devolves into a simple boarding meta. Right now, every fight just boils down to rushing straight onto the enemy vessel and capturing it on foot. It completely trivializes the actual ship combat and takes away what could have been the most unique aspect of the game. I really hope the developers rebalance this soon—incentivize true ship battles and dial back the capture mechanics, because this game deserves to shine!
I am writing this review in the hopes that more people will try this game. It is genuinely a fun experience despite some of the issues, and it has significantly improved since launch. The core combat experience is great. The loot is generally rewarding enough, though it could be better. It does get a little grindy, but that is to be expected. There are optimization concerns, I would not get the game if you are marginal on the recommended specifications. I have personally only encountered a single cheater, who was genuinely pathetic and I still managed to beat him. So don't let the alleged prelevance of cheaters deter you from the game. It is still playable even with them existing. The game is genuinely fun and the Developers are actively trying to make it work. For the price they are asking, it is well worth $25.
Unless you have 10 hours a day to sink into this game don't buy. First game or two i played when it came out were fine. But now solo voyage is just filled with decked out tramplers that hunt you down as soon as you spawn. Supposedly some sort of GBMM was implemented but that's false cause i just get walloped by decked out tramplers and lose everything. The game just has you make a new character once you lose everything but you still have basically nothing and get preyed on. Last 4 games were less than 5 mins before was tracked and hunted down by tramplers with pristine gear while all i have is rusty stuff. Not worth the $$
