The developers of Sand Raiders of Sophie broke the mold on this one. A truly unique game that feels like sea of thieves, crossout and mad max. A natural masterpiece in the extraction shooter genre. Now, breaking the mold comes with its challenges and bugs, but the devs have done a fantastic job at addressing the community and making changes the players need.
Great game, still a work in progress but progress has been very very good
W Game
The Gamebase is great, but it has a few problems that needs to be fixed. Riding through the desert, scouting for smoke, pvp, pve, everything could be really fun, but the current matchmaking is making it hard to make progress. Its just not winable if u walk in with a small trampler an face 8 legs with experimentals. But if you find a lobby with other Tramplers your sice the game really shows its potential. Yeah, its frustrating from time to time, but if they fix bugs like dissapearing loot, stairs and some other stuff the game could really shine. 8.5/10
Dear Developers, First of all, i push the boton of recomend because I want to thank you, I genuinely had a lot of fun playing your game. Unfortunately, the player base dropped dramatically, largely because of the poor — or practically nonexistent — matchmaking system. It is extremely difficult for new players to get into the game. If you start out with a basic trampler and constantly get destroyed by massive builds covered in cannons and armor, protected by defensive force fields, there is very little incentive to keep playing. Eventually, only Tier IV players remain, while newcomers simply give up. Now that the servers are being merged without addressing the matchmaking problem, I’m afraid the exact same thing will happen again, only on a much larger scale. The only players who will benefit are those who somehow manage to play ten hours a day and unlock every possible upgrade — and I honestly have no idea how they manage that while also working, studying, or taking care of their families. Meanwhile, new and more casual players simply leave frustrated. It’s a real shame, because the core gameplay is genuinely fun. With a better matchmaking system, I believe the game could offer a much better experience for both new and experienced players. For example, I think a tier-based matchmaking system could work really well. Lower-tier servers could offer less valuable loot, allowing newer players to learn, progress, and enjoy the game without constantly being destroyed by fully upgraded players. If you wanted better loot, you could voluntarily move up to a higher-tier server, accepting the greater risk in exchange for greater rewards. In my opinion, that kind of risk-versus-reward progression would make the game much more enjoyable for everyone. New players would have a fair chance to learn and progress, while experienced players would still have a reason to challenge themselves in higher-tier servers for better loot. Best regards. PDD: Apologies, my english is bad.
