This one is probably my favorite from the second season. It ties up the loose ends that occur early on and what began as a trip through time ends up in Hell. Some of the characters from the previous episodes are around, and while the main villain behind all of the troubles isn't a terrible surprise, I was amused by it. The puzzles were decent as well.
A childhood game. Played them all when i was a kid, they are still good, same old cartoonish look that i like in some games. Still has humor, action and a lot of other stuff. Glad i bought it a while ago. Still going strong. Max is still one of the best characters in the game. Still worth the money. Just screams childhood.
Oops almost forgot to write a review on this one! I finished it faster than most if not all previous episodes in the season, but that doesn't mean it was lacking in any way (still took me 3 hours!). There are so many twists and good jokes, it's great. I don't want to spoil anything here, just play it and see for yourself. I can't wait to play the next season, since I've heard amazing things about it. Once again I wonder how they're going to handle Timmy Two-Teeth in the remaster. I hope they just refer to his 'illness' as terminal impulsive swearing or something like that, because sheesh- When he's not censored though I got a genuine laugh. He's actually a really cute kid if you look past the misrepresentation of disability. The fact that he's just saying heck and frick and stuff is so funny-
Overall I liked the season 2 but the end and the previous episode wasn't so creative. Very random and obscure actions. If you don't need a guide for this I would be amazed.
Episodes 3 & 5 are so unfunny it is painful to sit through, with some puzzles in these two episodes border on the levels of esoteric only rivaled by the Largest Ball of Twine puzzle in Hit the Road. That being said, while I gave negative reviews of 2 of the episodes, I recommend it as a whole Season despite the 2 bad eggs. If you are going to buy Season 2, do it soon, as they are probably going to remove the game from Steam when they decide to remaster it.
