A childhood game. Played them all when i was a kid, they are still good, same old cartoonish look that i like in some games. Still has humor, action and a lot of other stuff. Glad i bought it a while ago. Still going strong. Max is still one of the best characters in the game. Still worth the money. Just screams childhood.
Really funny episode. Very enjoyable.
Sam and Max Season One, Sam and Max Season Two, Sam and Max Season Three, Tales of Monkey Island and Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures are hands down the best Point and Click Adventure games that original Telltale has ever done. If Telltale did work on more games like this and didn't go into a path of garbage Walking Dead Season 1 clones with fake "choices matters" while taking tons of license deals over the past 6 years they would not need to be shut down and their games removed from stores. I mean WHO could predict that? Oh right..... anyone beside Telltale. So.... good job Telltale! You had everything and then you decided to throw it away into a thrash for fake "choices matters" screen and brain dead gameplay. Congratulation! You won an award for the most promising yet dumbest indie studio thus far. I hope you all and other studios will learn from that.
Sam and Max is an underrated series following a comedic duo following an episodic format. Nearly every line is guaranteed to raise a chuckle and this is no exception as it is one of the best in the season. Certainly check out the series if you like story-based tomfoolery and a wry sense of humor.
The Virtual Reality concept has often been portrayed in sci-fi stories throughout the time. Although each one of them had their own peculiarities, they all shared one thing in common: A futuristic concept, where it seems like mankind simply could not escape So this is pretty much the theme that revolves around that chapter. It all starts when you visit Sybil and realize that she's now a beta-tester, acting like a maniac while using VR goggles. Actually, it's not much different than a scene that could be commonly seen nowadays, so they've certainly got that part right. When you visit Bosco's shop, he's now impersonating a half-elf and his prices are still somehow crazier than him Eventually, you realize that everyone seems to be migrating to the "Reality 2.0", which is actually managed by "group therapy" members, that are actually old media which devices, which developed some kind of AI (that includes an annoying singing act as well) The most interesting aspect about this entry is that you're able to roam through places either in the actual reality, or in the 3D world. There're some jokes and references here and there as well, but I didn't consider any to be remarkable. Nonetheless, I must confess that I loved the throwback to the VR idea, which I've seen in "Sam & Max: Hit the Road", in a puzzle at Conroy Bumpus' mansion Overall, now there's only one part left before the episode is over, so let's see what's the conclusion going to be
No joke, the weakest of the season, but it's still fun.
