Sakura Gym Girls: Prologue is a prequel to Sakura Gym Girls.
This visual novel is about Kitagawa Shouhei, a university student, who lives in Tokyo with his girlfriend, the energetic and cheerful Sakizaki Ranko. Shouhei and Ranko are still in the early stages of their relationship, and they’re utterly in love.
Everything seems to be going well between Shouhei and Ranko – until Ranko discovers, to her horror, that Shouhei’s doting ways have led her to packing on the pounds.
In an attempt to keep fit, Ranko sweet-talks Shouhei into joining the local gym with her, so she can shed some of the weight she gained while eating all of Shouhei’s home-cooked meals.
Join Shouhei and Ranko in this cute, light-hearted story, which serves as a prelude to a larger series, which will introduce even more cute girls for Shouhei to spend time with!
Ranko is Shouhei’s girlfriend. She’s incredibly self-confident, and she was actually the one who proposed to Shouhei first.
Ranko is as affectionate as a puppy, and she’s always giving Shouhei hugs and kisses, even in public, to Shouhei’s embarrassment.
Having a girlfriend as devoted as Ranko is a bit of a handful, but Shouhei loves her a lot, and he’s certain they’ll always stay together. Why wouldn’t they, when they get along so well together?
