for a survivor game its hard. If you have a deck customize your buttons and play. I like survivor games alot. Their like pizza...when its good its great when its bad its still pretty good unless its burnt. as long as its not a ruined piece of crap even the most basic with good play is not too bad. Like TD. plus this game is free. and it does play and look nice. so play it for free and be shhhhhhhhhhhhhh about it. lol

Top-down auto-shooting upgrade survival. Move around the map destroying enemies then apply an upgrade when you've collected enough gems to level-up. Unfortunately no matter how skilled you are, around wave 13 you'll begin to fall behind the curve where you don't have enough armour, speed, firepower or income to combat the stronger and more numerous foes. With each wave offering you a single upgrade that affords you a pathetic 0.3% "improvement", you fall further and further behind until you're overwhelmed. This is a feature of the style of game as you'd be playing forever if it wasn't so cruel. But the transition from "This is fun, I'm having a good time" to "I'm going to lose imminently and there's nothing I can do about it" is very short. Additionally, this happens consistently around the same stage which means the game is contrived to get hard there regardless of what upgrades you've selected up to that point. Even though I didn't encounter any of the technical difficulties mentioned in other reviews, I still wouldn't recommend Ruiga Pirates. After nearly 2 hours of retries I was no better-equipped to get any further than I did the very first time. You get sick of losing at the same point every time despite wildly changing your approach. 5/10
