Je n'ai pas aimé. La période est bonne, mais le jeu est un standalone pauvre et moins bon que le jeu de base. Barbarian invasion est bien meilleur !
This campaign is brutal… and I absolutely loved every second of it. If you’ve played the base game or Barbarian Invasion, you might think you’re ready, you’re not. Alexander throws you straight into a high-pressure, time-limited conquest where every single turn matters. There’s no room for chilling, no slow empire-building, no safety net. You either keep pushing forward like a legend… or you fall behind and fail. And that’s exactly what makes it so special. Playing as Alexander feels completely different from any other Total War experience. You’re not just expanding an empire, you’re racing against history itself. The campaign perfectly captures the idea that you’re leading a once-in-a-lifetime military genius with unstoppable momentum. Every battle feels important, every loss hurts, and every victory feels earned. The difficulty is no joke: * Constant pressure from multiple fronts * Limited time to achieve massive objectives * Brutal enemy resistance * Zero tolerance for mistakes But instead of feeling unfair, it feels focused. The challenge forces you to play smarter, faster, and more aggressively than ever before. You actually start thinking like Alexander, decisive, bold, and relentless. And when it finally clicks… it’s insanely satisfying. Completing this campaign felt like a genuine achievement. Not just another Total War victory, but something that required planning, adaptation, and commitment from start to finish. It’s one of those rare experiences where the difficulty enhances the immersion instead of ruining it. PS I LOVE Phalanx SO satisfying and this game has one of the BEST Phalanx out of all Total War! Is it for everyone? Definitely not. If you prefer slow, sandbox-style campaigns, this will probably stress you out. But if you want: * A unique twist on the Total War formula * A serious challenge * A campaign that actually tests your skill Then Alexander is an absolute must-play. Overall its Hard, intense, and incredibly rewarding. One of the most unique campaigns in Total War history, and beating it feels legendary.

《Rome: Total War™ - Alexander》5/10
little bit boring, but its fun cuz they force my troops to always push without any pause crazy killer machine horde and then get ready with riot at your settlements lol
that the other side has a chance to win
Steeped in the annals of gaming history, Total War emerges as a fascinating bridge between the hex‑based strategy of the 1980s and the cinematic spectacle of modern RTS. Its quirks are undeniable: chief among them a cumbersome interface, but that very unwieldiness speaks to its ambition. For those who value the lineage of strategy gaming, Total War is less a mere product than a living archive: an evolving experiment in how digital history can be fought, thought and taught. Verdict: Recommended for historians of tactical RTS.
