I really like the setting, I wish Soviet-Finnish wars got more attention in gaming and otherwise. The gameplay is fine for a simple free game of this genre. However, I cannot recommend playing this game for one reason - as soon as you run the game and are still in the black and white text menu before actually starting playing the game already starts consuming around 98% of your GPU capacity. Now I won't speculate here on what the game does with all this computing capacity, but sadly for me it means no more playing it. KEEP THE FLARES COMING! This is a surprisingly fun game. It's exactly what it says it is, a machinegun bunker shoot the human wave game. The fun of it is in the atmospheric visuals, the fairly realistic animations, the semi-delusional Finnish mumbling, and the challenge of trying to machinegun the widely dispersed Soviet infantry as they attack in small waves out of the misty forest treeline (there they are! oh, that's just crud on my monitor). It's a fun little game, and it's free!
