The "Game Of Seeing How Trash Your Laptop Is" game. the game has almost no optimzation and if your computer is bad it will crash and there is actually nothing in this game and this is not even a game this is a commercial for ROG. For a commercial 20 GB is lot.

ROG CITADEL XV is basically a **playable ASUS ROG ad** where you walk around a futuristic gamer bunker while your PC tries its best to cook eggs at 144 FPS. It’s like someone said: > “What if we made *Cyberpunk*, but you don’t shoot anyone—you just stare lovingly at graphics cards?” --- ### What You Actually Do * Wake up in a sci-fi gamer facility sponsored by RGB. * Walk around halls that look like a GPU commercial had a baby with a LAN party. * Poke at terminals, watch flashy animations, play some mini-games, and casually get lore-dumped about hardware. * Alt-tab and Google if any of this makes your FPS in other games better (it doesn’t, but your soul feels overclocked). --- ### Pros * **Genuinely pretty**: * Neon lights, glowing panels, holograms, and more red/black color scheme than a 2014 “my first gaming PC” build. * Great “I just built a new PC and want to flex it” experience: * Run around, crank settings to ultra, whisper “yeah that’s right” as your GPU screams. * Mini-games and shooting galleries sprinkled in so it’s not *just* walking and gawking. * Feels like a theme park ride through the inside of a gaming laptop’s marketing brochure—and I mean that in the most affectionate way possible. * Perfect for testing monitors, headsets, or whether your PC is about to ascend or explode. --- ### Cons * You will learn **exactly zero** about plot once you realize you’re mostly here to stare at RTX reflections on spaceship walls. * Not really a “game,” more like a **hardware flex simulator** with lore stapled on. * If you don’t care about PCs, you’ll just be wandering through a very expensive hallway wondering why everything has a logo. * 90% of your time is “wow cool room,” 10% is “wait, was there an objective?” --- ### Peak ROG CITADEL XV Moments * Standing in front of a giant holographic GPU like it’s modern art, nodding like you understand VRMs and power phases. * Toggling graphics settings mid-walk just to watch your FPS counter swing harder than your emotions during a Steam sale. * Treating the target range mini-game like an esports trial, then immediately missing every shot because you were too busy looking at the lighting. * Finishing the whole thing and immediately opening your case to apologize to your overworked graphics card. --- ### Should You “Play” This? * Got a new rig and want something shiny to show it off? ✅ * Like sci-fi environments and walking through gamer décor? ✅ * Want actual deep gameplay, story, or progression? ❌ This is a **free theme park tour for your hardware**, not your next 200-hour epic. --- **8.5/10** A glorified tech demo that looks cool, sounds cool, and makes you feel like your PC just got invited to an exclusive RGB cult meeting. Would once again boot it up after changing literally one setting, stroll around the citadel for 20 minutes, and go “yeah, that’s smoother” even if it’s exactly the same.

This is an interesting selling pitch game. It has some older ROG gear along with some newer gear in it. However, in no way are you ever going to forget that they are trying to sell you something when playing the first part of this. LOL EDIT: Oh and do run it on an Asus system or one with Asus Aura Sync components (Motherboard (impacts RGB of anything on the RGB/ARGB headers, RAM, and AIO pump RGB, etc.), Keyboard, Mouse and headset). The game changes the colors of them at will based on whats going on on-screen at the time.
