RoboCop: Rogue City

Un juego entretenido si lo pillas de oferta, pero tiene muchos fallos, no de rendimiento, si no técnicos, de jugabilidad. Estaba deseando que acabara el juego, y ni caso de las misiones secundarias. Decepcionado, pero por el precio que lo compré no duele tanto.

8/10. Шикарная игра про робота полицейского. Геймплей, графон, сюжет на высоком уровне. По скидке данная игра прям подарок. Даже не думал. что она мне так зайдет, было очень увлекательно. Для фанатов робокопа зайдет на ура. Захотелось пересмотреть фильмы.

Macht einige Sachen richtig gut nur um bei vielen Stellen einfach richtig mies zu sein. Grafik ist z.B. richtig gut, aber Sound ist mega flach und die Sprecher nicht gut abgemischt und mies. Grund Gameplay ist solide, aber es gibt Erkundungsmissionen, die richtig unnötig die Spielzeit strecken. Waffen gibt es einige, aber eigentlich macht es fast gar keinen Sinn eine andere Waffe als die Hauptwaffe zu nehmen. Die initialen Skills die man freischaltet sind cool, aber die späteren unlocks sind richtig unnötig. Autosave ist auch manchmal richtig schlecht platziert. Ich habe z.B. bei den besagten freien Erkundungsmissionen gibt es einzel Ziele die man finden kann, bei denen man aber wieder zurückgesetzt wird.

It’s almost mean to compare this games plot to Robocop, one of the most notoriously lean and efficient scripts in history, but it really is a bloated and poorly edited mess. No one says in one sentence what could be said in three, flat framing, long pauses between dialogue for no reason…they don’t even bother to introduce Robocop in a memorable way, he’s just sitting in a car like, “ ‘sup.” I can see some real ambition with the RPG elements and where they wanted to push the plot, and I want to applaud that but they want seriously for either money or talent. Could be forgiven but gunplay is too shallow. Zigs instead of zags; gameplay this simple works great with fast action, something more deliberate or strategic might have suited the pace here. The art department did do a great job of capturing not only the film aesthetics, but the tech and vibes of the 80s in general. And I liked the gun chip mini game. But that’s not much of a meal.

Performance is solid with a few settings tweaks (played on Mac M4), though there are occasional frame drops in busy scenes. The gameplay is satisfying, the story feels true to the RoboCop I watched growing up.

Bom jogo. O tiroteio é divertido (porém fica bastante fácil no late game - joguei no modo difícil e recomendaria jogar no épico para ter mais desafio) e a história e ambientação acertam bem o espírito do filme original
