Fun shooter - nice with the option to modify which board/configurations one wants on the Auto 9. The choices from dialog and such has an impact on the ending after last mission (different cinematics)

The story is a little bit boring but they have good voice acting. Where this game excels is really making you feel like Robocop. The graphics are incredible, but I did encounter a few glitches that blocked me from progressing and I had to restart from a checkpoint. I wish the save system was more comprehensive and clear; I sometimes lose progress because it's not clear if I passed a checkpoint or not. Thankfully you can skip dialog and cutscenes.

If you can get a good sale price for this game I’d certainly recommend it - it looks good (with a caveat, which I’ll say more on below), gun play is fun with plenty of gore and destruction. Areas like the police station and steel mill are lovingly recreated and give you the nostalgia hit you’re looking for if you’re a fan of the movies. The skills you can unlock are pretty cool and will give you the walking tank feel you’re looking for, although you might feel like a bit of a glass cannon before you unlock them. It’s not without its flaws though - being an Unreal 5 game it can be anywhere between smooth as butter and inexplicably choppy depending on the phase of the moon and continental drift. Some of the detective work and fetch quests can feel a little tacked on. If they’d spent a little more time and care on the RPG elements this would be a much better game. It can be a bit janky in places but overall it’s a fun game for the right price, especially if you’re a Robocop fan and like shooters.
