RoboCop: Rogue City

Really enjoyed this game, it is pleasantly simple with an easily understood skills tree. Perfect for an FPS. The gun play is reasonable, albeit a bit limited, but is in keeping with the film. There is a decent enough through thread which is decently acted,. a highlight being Robocop himself. The game manages to capture the feeling of being robocop; you are overpowered in the majority fights and "hard" is really quite easy, but thats how it should be right? I did suffer a few deaths. There are some scripting bugs, but Gemini got me through them, and I never lost more than a couple of minutes progress. Reasonable playthrough time, but for me, there is little will to replay. Overall, highly recommended for some entertaining. almost old school boomer shooter FPS action. Wasnt too impressed with the U5 graphics though, I guess the textures were done to a budget.

Мужики сделали отличную пародию на боевики 90х, такой же банальный сюжет, тупые персонажи, кринжовые фразочки и диалоги. Надеюсь лишь, что это сделано специально, а не просто игра не вывозит... Геймплейно чуть скучновато, но плохой игрой не назвал бы. К тому же не затянута, не успевает надоесть. P.S. Я не фанат Робокопа и вообще мало с ним знаком, возможно поклонникам игра зайдет куда сильнее, я хз 6/10

Despite many flaws, I consider this a good game. If you played Terminator: Resistance before, this seems to be the same engine and general gameplay formula. Amazing tribute to the original movies, simple but satisfying gunplay, mediocre everything else.

This is such a "perfect 7/10" game! It's a fun, linear game that's reminiscent of 2000's movie tie-in games. It's janky in a way that makes it charming, but the core gameplay is unaffected by it. The world of robocop was great and felt true to the source material. The game managed to somehow feel nostalgic, while still giving you a new robocop story/experience. You can get this game super cheap on sale and you get so much game for your dollar. I definitely recommend it!

Super jeu pour les nostalgiques des années 80, le studio a vraiment respecté le film et l'ambiance d'origine. Pour les fans c'est un régal, même si techniquement ce n'est pas tout à fait au niveau des jeux récents. Par contre l'équilibrage de la difficulté est totalement abusé : tout le long du jeu on roule sur les ennemis et on se sent invincible, mais arrivés aux boss (surtout le dernier), ça devient une vraie purge tellement ils sont durs par rapport au reste. Le jeu reste très sympa, mais préparez-vous à rager sur certains combats.

As a long time fan of the movies, I have to say I had a blast playing this game! It clearly has great understanding and respect for the source material, while also embracing it's own identity - a story driven FPS with some light RPG elements. I find the strongest points of the game to be it's worldbuilding, atmosphere and of course - Robocop himself! They truly captured the look and feel of the classic movies and the fact they got Peter Weller himself to voice Robocop is a chef's kiss! Combat is also very satisfying - you often feel like a force of justice unleashed on criminal scum of futuristic, dystopian Detroit. The game does have it's flaws - mainly it's story and main villains feel somewhat weak. Also, I'm aware that people have reported a lot of weird bugs and glitches, but I experienced none of those in my playthrough. I'm guessing most of it got fixed since launch... Overall I highly recommend Robocop: Rogue City, especially if you are a fan of the classic movies. Can't wait to play Unfinished Business!
