Great game 5/5, combat seems simple first but is really deep, promotes agressive attacks complemented with parry to break enemies staminas bar and take a big chunk of their health with a free critical attack, boss fights are awesome. People said the world was ugly so i was expecting that, but it seem alright to me at least the wild zones, the cities are gorgeus specially kyoto, also i didnt have a problem with the story, i heard some criticism on it but if you take your time to complete all the side content the pacing doesnt feel rush like i heard, also if you love the Bakumatsu period or your into history is really cool to see the events unfold on the game. Music is okey nothing crazy except two of three song that are good, sound is nice all weapons sound like they supposed to, etc. To finalize my thoughts i would say travelling on the game thanks to the glider (that you can switch while on it to the horse) and the grappling hook it feels smooth. Overall game of the year 2024, one of my favorites action-combat games along with nioh 2.
