In all fairness The game is amazing from the storyline to graphics however, each kingdom is un monitored, allowing a few bad players to corrupt and bully other players that are trying to have fun and grow. I have many accounts on here and have only ran into a few of these players that take the entire kingdom over and zero you out after you built your lines up in order for their friends to take your alliance over this is very unfair gameplay. I have reached out to little Lyft many times for help with this, but never get a reply. I usually spend a lot of money in this game however, now I just play the game is FreePlay and I do not donate my money to them anymore hoping one day they will step in and do something to block these bad players from being able to do what they’re doing
Fun but loses its spark It’s been a good game for a while but the tremendous wait times for research upgrades is actually crazy past Tier 4 level. Why would I want to wait 100 days for a slight buff and the possibility to reach T5 troops (which takes 500 days). Please add a T6 level to reduce other research wait times, or something like better rune speed ups to the game. Another annoyance is starlight sculptures. It takes so many to get a commander leveled up past level 40 or 50, so it’s truly hard to have a diverse team of commanders to work with. As a free to play player, I have made a lot of progress but I’m feeling like it’s wasting my time and distracting me from my own life. Congrats to the ones who can spend thousands of dollars on the game, but I’ll stop playing soon if things don’t change. I already have seen two alliance members quit today because of how boring it has become. And no, I’m not making 500 farming accounts to cater to being F2P. It’s actually ridiculous how much people spend on this dumb game. I feel sorry for them.
P2P and Jumpers Ruined This Game Along with jumpers. I am pay to play but when you have jumpers coming into the kingdom with equal power as you and join your alliance for the alter rewards then they leave right after. Even worse is when your R4 kicks you to make room for these jumpers. Then you are left with no option but to join another alliance and collect their rewards if any. Sure I could also jump to another kingdom for 5$ the first immigration but I absolutely hate that concept of the game. Frankly jumpers and “whales” being worshiped like they are Jesus despite have less real in game experience than you both ruined the game. This will likely be my last play through and with that being said I’m not sure I’ll even make it to 25m power before giving up on this account. The highest power I’ve ever reached was 147m in 2018.
This game is not free to play player If you’re a free-to-play player, understand what you’re signing up for before investing your time. Rise of Kingdoms is well designed, but it’s built around an endless competition. No matter how much time you invest, there will always be players who spend more money or have been playing longer. The finish line keeps moving. The biggest issue isn’t that paid players are stronger—that’s expected. The real problem is that many of the most important KvK activities and fights are dominated by the strongest alliances and accounts. As a free-to-play player, you may spend months building your account only to discover that the opportunities you were looking forward to are limited. The game is also very good at creating emotional attachment. You start feeling that your city, commanders, resources, and progress belong to you. After investing months, it becomes difficult to leave because you don’t want your time and money to feel wasted. That cycle keeps many players playing longer than they actually enjoy. If you enjoy a long grind and don’t mind supporting stronger players, you may like this game. But if you’re looking for a strategy game where effort alone gives you a meaningful chance to participate in the biggest content, this game may disappoint you as a free-to-play player.
Fun It’s a fun strategy game it also helps you get to a current level go luck and pick the best civilization
