About
In Ring of Titans, there is no grind. Every skill, ability, talent and Titan is available to use or play right from the start. There is no pay to win, or even pay to unlock. You won't lose because the opponents had better gear or paid for better skills, you'll only lose if the opponents are better. Everyone is on an even playing field, the only differentiator is skill. Do you have what it takes to rise to the top?
The gameplay and netcode is built to be fluid from the ground up, with super responsive gameplay and an amazing game feel. Take down your opponents with your perfectly timed skills, react to abilities in real time, play around complex mechanics with ground breaking speed.
Climb through the ranks from Bronze all the way to Grand Titan. Access realtime leaderboards on the website which update immediately. Analyze match history for yourself and your opponents. Show to the world your skill by climbing to the top.
The frequent balance updates take input from top players and look at raw matchup data to make informed, rapid decisions. Never will a single Titan reign dominant for an entire season. Never will an overpowered ability stick around for weeks or months. We won't get this right every time, but by moving quickly here we hope to keep things as balanced as possible.
In addition to balance updates, there are planned major content patches which will include features such as new Titans, new maps, and new cosmetics.
In Ring of Titans we take the "No RNG" policy to an extreme. There's absolutely no RNG in anything, no crits, no random movement, no resists or uncontrollable misses. When you win, it's because you played better than your opponent, not because you got a lucky crit.

Badass dev making a badass interpretation of "Arena".

I gave this a thumbs up because it actually has potential to be a top ranking game. I played a few bot matches and instantly won after 3 attacks. I'm not sure if it is a bug or what. The characters and abilities all seem great, but no one is actually playing the game in pvp. I wish games like this actually made it to the real market. The developer probably quit because they didn't charge for anything and had no reason to continue development on a free game.

What is there to say? It's 12:30 am on a January night. A simple man like me just fancied a videogame. Lo and behold this bad boy. I was, factually, the only person in the entire WORLD playing the game, I checked on steamdb to make sure. Even the server kicked me out at some point and showed what I presumed to be an erroneous amount of in-game currency - and I still had the time of my life, don't get it twisted. This game is incredible. To not play this game is to refuse to drink the nectar of the Gods out of the well of eternal fun. There's like 5 distinct characters split among like 4 actual models turned into around 10 different specs and each is a recolor. It's fairly obvious and intentionally so, but they're almost treated as completely separate characters in-game and aren't even situated next to each other in the character select menu. Depending on the character, the spells can get BLOATED. The Warlock equivalent even has a duplicate of the same spell in the action bars by default, to the point where I think you can get up to more than 20 active spells which goes beyond the 4 (2x10) action bars you get. Paladin's equivalent (the offensively oriented one) has like...12? And 2 of them are cc dispels. Oh and you can't autoattack so you're just stuck waiting on your 1 (resources don't exist so we're way past the point of primitive notions of builders and spenders). Most defensives are actually identical. I think balance in this game is an afterthought, but having only played this game AGAINST BOTS for an hour I truly don't think it mattered. This game is the natural evolution of World of Warcraft seen through the hyperopic lens of a terminally online preteen that's been on Ritalin since the age of 7. Given the game's been out for 4 years now, balance seems to be a suggestion and entirely optional, rather than a necessity. I don't even delude myself into thinking I'm even that good though, I got to silver II against bots and got absolutely ruined by an Arms Warrior who managed to get a second stun onto me by charging me for a second time in 3.5 seconds after I'd Human racial'd to get out of the first stun. I'll tell you no Echo endorsed Arena veteran stands a chance against the cracked terror that is Tarcza the fighter. Anyways it's getting long winded. Just PLAY this game. Just give it a shot and it'll be the best "I've got seasonal depression and I can't help myself" weekday evening you'll ever afford yourself. Final verdict: 68/10 A hecking masterpiece. Cinematic.
Really good game! You should make the bots harder, this will encourage people to play solo and over time solo queues will be popular. Then with a little promo you can actually get players playing this.
DEAD GAME
great pvp game, straight into the action. for lovers of fast paced, fantasy style competetive games
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: In-Game Cash Shop This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money/credit card details to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
This is a clunky and unpolished Unity kitbash arena brawler/shooter with a fantasy theme and zero players. This is a dead PvP game. Why did "Ring of Titans" fail? Time for a video game autopsy. Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Developers often assume just because they published their game, it's going to "go viral". I'm guessing this is a case of the developers making this game in complete isolation without even bothering to look at what other PvP games on Steam already offer. The market for PvP games is crowded and the player base is limited. This game never reached "critical mass", didn't "go viral", and didn't offer anything to differentiate itself enough. Even with no upfront cost, it failed to appeal to gamers for several reasons. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. The assets look a little mismatched but they're also much higher quality than the actual game. It's a bit of a red flag for an asset flip, but there's no evidence or smoking gun in this case. While there's no proof, the overall low quality of the actual "game" part (an important part of the whole package that makes up a game) is indistinguishable from an asset flip, and no matter where the assets came from, the quality here is bad. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. This game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
