A retro first-person shooter inspired by Blood, Duke Nukem 3D, and Rise of the Triad. REVEREND is a dark, twisted tale with religious undertones, terrifying creature designs and one hell of a personality.

I'm glad it was over in less than an hour, the weird billboarding on almost all of the objects in the game was giving me a headache. There wasn't a lot to like about this game; the level design was very rough (especially in the second to last level), the enemies were basic and uninspired, you get so little ammo in the first few maps you practically main the hammer, and I still don't know what was at stake or accomplished in the story. Reverend is a very mediocre boomer shooter. If you want an example of this done better, go play DOSMan Games' other shooters, particularly DEAD TRASH, instead.
Awful.
Not really a shooter because you don't get enough ammo to shoot the enemies, you have to melee most of them.
Ich hab mir das Spiel für unter 1€ gekauft und konnte damit gut eine Stunde totschlagen. In diesem Sinne: Bin zufrieden.
Egész jó kis Blood-szerű játék, jöhetne a folytatás!
Fun little Doom-style game. It's pretty short but that's fine for the price. Really creative enemies! The sprites and animations are fun, varied, and took me by surprise a couple times. It's been argued that Dead Trash was better, and I'd agree, but Reverend is still fun. My only negative is that the controls are very basic, direct input. But as a seasoned boomer shooter enthusiast I'm used to that.
I like the overall aesthetics of the game but it's way too short. Not enough enemies or weapons and I noticed if I stand still with the hammer I can just stunlock enemies. Final boss is lame. One of these reviews I wish steam had a neutral option on.
Quick cheap little boomer shooter
Good atmosphere and gameplay. The classic DOSMan experience
