Intro/Summary
I've seen better games made in game jams by solo indie devs in under a week. Don't get me wrong, the ideas are interesting but the mechanics of translating these (mobile style) games to a PC format is both clunky and poorly-done. As far as a résumé goes, I hope Chris Holtshouser finds some work at a mobile game developer or starts up their own. These kinds of mindless minigames do well in the mobile market but they don't fare much in the Steam/PC market. I grew up on the 'arcade style' games of Atari and such. That's what these 3 minigames tend to reminds me of. Unfortunately they fall completely short in almost every way.
Graphics/Aesthetics
They are simple and plain to evoke a retro style. No complaints there.
Sound/Music
It is serviceable. Won't win any awards but isn't as ear-splitting as some of older Atari/NES games.
Gameplay
There's a 'space fish' game that controls in a clumsy fashion and isn't very fun. It was obviously designed for a mobile format. The 'snowball' game seems to be multiplayer-only but the 'bots' didn't appear for me. Again seems explicitly designed for mobile. Finally the 'flying' game is the easiest to control where a mouse click is equal to a mobile touchscreen tap. Takes a bit of practice but is pretty well-done.
Conclusion
I don't get paying $100 to have your 'resume' up on Steam when this could've been submitted much cheaper (or for free) on the mobile marketplace. I do NOT recommend anyone bother with this minigame collection unless you want to waste a few minutes before uninstalling OR you are a mobile game dev actually seeking other people to hire. Chris, your best bet is to just make some nice mobile games/apps and make some money from ads and/or RMT purchases like others have done. I don't feel you are suitable for the PC gaming market if this is the best you can offer. Many PC game devs got their start by working on mods in existing games/engines :)
I like the music a lot

I realize this is just a "resume" and its free... but it just doesnt satisfy my gaming needs. This is a project you turn into your gaming HS teacher.
