A surprisingly cozy loop of buy–rent–restock that scratches the management sim itch without getting bogged down in meaningless drudgery. You start with a bare-bones shop and a small selection of movies to rent out, and steadily unlock inventory, upgrades and staff. The UI is clean and customer traffic keeps you engaged with just enough management to be satisfying. If you enjoy chill tycoon vibes with steady growth, this was an easy recommend, especially with some of the latest updates.
I do like the game. Nostalgic of Blockbuster. However, having an inventory count would be useful when in the purchasing screen, and lights. It is so dark in the store visibility is awful. Maybe more variety of movies and candies instead of 6 of each type.
