Garbage
A bad and pointless game.
Rampage Ragdoll is a simple 2D "versus" fighting game with a somewhat silly twist, the combatants are animated with godawfully bad ragdoll physics. I think it might be bad on purpose, but either way, the ragdolls jitter around constantly. There's only 1v1 combat, just one "arena" and only one ragdoll model. The minimalist graphics and terrible physics (on purpose or not, doesn't matter), as well as the locked controls and very poor gameplay make this impossible to recommend.
i cant stop playing
Rampage Ragdoll is a quirky physics-based fighting game developed by ijal Studio and published by HandMade Games. Rather than pursuing realism or competitive depth, the game embraces chaos and unpredictability, creating a lighthearted experience built around ragdoll characters that stumble, swing, and crash into one another in often hilarious ways. Its entire identity revolves around the idea that controlling a fighter should feel awkward, challenging, and entertaining at the same time. At its core, the game is a simple arena brawler where players battle either computer-controlled opponents or another player locally. The objective is straightforward, but the path to victory is anything but conventional. Instead of executing polished attacks through standard fighting-game inputs, players manipulate different parts of their character’s body, creating a unique control system that turns movement itself into a challenge. Walking, balancing, and attacking all require deliberate effort, which results in countless unexpected situations as characters flop around the arena. One of the most notable aspects of Rampage Ragdoll is how heavily it relies on physics to create entertainment. Every match feels unpredictable because no two encounters play out exactly the same way. A perfectly timed strike can send an opponent flying, while a mistimed movement may leave a character tumbling helplessly across the battlefield. This constant uncertainty gives the game a sense of spontaneity that keeps matches amusing even when players are still learning the mechanics. The game’s single-player mode provides an opportunity to practice against AI opponents, but the experience shines brightest when played with a friend. Local multiplayer transforms the awkward controls and exaggerated physics into a source of laughter, as both players struggle to maintain control while trying to outmaneuver each other. The resulting battles often feel more like comedic spectacles than serious competitions, which is clearly the atmosphere the developer intended to create. Visually, Rampage Ragdoll adopts a minimalist style that prioritizes functionality over presentation. Character models and environments are relatively simple, and there is little emphasis on graphical detail. While the visuals are unlikely to impress players seeking cutting-edge aesthetics, they effectively support the game's physics-focused gameplay. The simplicity also helps keep attention on the ragdoll interactions, which are the true centerpiece of the experience. The control scheme deserves special mention because it will likely determine whether players enjoy the game or not. Learning how to maneuver the ragdoll efficiently takes patience, and newcomers may initially find the movement clumsy or unintuitive. However, those willing to invest time into understanding the mechanics may appreciate the challenge and discover a surprising level of skill beneath the apparent chaos. The game supports both keyboard and controller play, giving players flexibility in how they approach its unusual control system. Despite its entertaining premise, the game does have limitations. Content is relatively modest, and there are not many additional modes or progression systems to encourage long-term engagement. Players looking for a deep fighting game or a feature-rich multiplayer experience may find the available content somewhat limited. Instead, the game succeeds as a focused indie title that commits fully to its central concept without attempting to be something larger. Overall, Rampage Ragdoll delivers a fun and unconventional take on the fighting genre. Its physics-driven combat, unpredictable encounters, and humorous ragdoll behavior create memorable moments that can be especially enjoyable in local multiplayer sessions. While the simple visuals, niche mechanics, and limited content prevent it from appealing to everyone, fans of experimental indie games and physics-based chaos will likely appreciate what it offers. It is a small but charming project that understands its strengths and leans into them wholeheartedly. Rating: 5/10
