About

The war ended in a blinding flash. Now, the earth is hollow, a fractured shell hiding the remnants of humanity. A new era of evolution is about to begin. Survivors fled underground, but salvation was a lie. A sickness spread, warping minds, twisting bodies. No one is being spared.
You are a child, taken to a hidden facility deep below the surface. You don’t know why. Only that you’re sick. That everyone is. And something is wrong. You have to escape. Crawl through the vents. Follow the echoes to get to the surface. Your mother is waiting for you.

Wander through a decaying underground facility where nothing feels stable. Every room hides secrets, every object whispers fragments of a story you were never meant to uncover.

The bunker is not empty. Strange figures linger in the shadows, some helpful, some deceptive, none entirely trustworthy. Their words may reveal truth… or bury it deeper.

A labyrinth of vents and passages twisting into the dark. Something moves inside, creatures that stalk and listen in the silence. Paths split, shift, and close behind you. There is no turning back.

Though your journey branches in countless directions, they all lead toward the same haunting revelation. What you find depends not just on where you go, but on what you dare to see.

Really fun, had me completely focused and tensed up from start to end. Loved the vibes and atmosphere the game has with all the creepy elements yet some cheesy puns scattered around. Looking forward to the next episode!
I think I accidentally speed ran this but it was neato
I loved the game's art style and story, but the maze sections were very frustrating

I think this is gonna be the start to a really cool series
I get stuck at the same place every time with is a hint of where I m stuck
I really enjoyed the first episode of R.A.T.! I'm a big fan of story-driven post-apocolyptic games, and this seems to be one of those. I particularly enjoyed exploring the vents and talking to different people. R.A.T. seems to reward exploration with lore, which I always appreciate. I look forward to future episodes of this game, whether they are free or not.
cant wait for episode 2
I see a lot of potential with this!! The story already has me hooked, it's very well written science fiction with an unnerving atmosphere and tone as a whole. It's a lot like Sally Face (one of my all time favorites) art and gameplay wise, so if you enjoy games like that I highly recommend! I find the story to be an excellent commentary on humanity and science as a whole, even though I've only seen the first piece of it. The references to historic immoral events such as WWII gave the story much darker implications than what it originally let on. The ending of chapter 1 is also very ominous, but I won't spoil that for you. Overall, I'm very excited to see how this game progresses, and I hope to see it get more recognition soon!
Starting the game very exciting, since I've seen about it on social media before and wish listed it since. It looked very promising and interesting. It is interesting, the story itself is something I enjoy reading about, the characters all seems cool and I really like the art style and art direction. Unfortunately, the vents system made me stop playing. I didn't finish the game, because the vents just made it... unplayable to an extent. They are too long, no map other than the rat, but i expected that map to be always with me on the screen, and you go from a vent to another and lose yourself in the process and never make progress.. Maybe making the vents a bit shorter and a better map system would be improving the game. As I said, story wise it's cool, but the vents break it too much.
Very charming art style and atmosphere. Similar feel to Fran Bow and Neverending Nightmare, while still maintaining an original feel and unique draw. Unbelievable production value and care has been put into this game for it being free to play. Be sure to support the creator if it gets a kickstarter, absolutely worth it! Will be contributing myself when I can. Absolutely amazing so far!!
