good game
Awesome game. Remember to check the toilets!
fantastic gameplay loop, will fill it more later.
Game has 0 balance so basically easiest missions are bonkers. You can literally soft lock yourself after a few h of playing.
Really enjoying my time with Quasimorph. The atmosphere is great: the soundtrack, lore, and visuals all tie together nicely to make me feel like a disposable, deniable asset working for a megacorp. The looter-extraction mechanics make me constantly re-evaluate which items I definitely want to extract: gear for my mercenaries, components for manufacture, items for ship upgrades or barter with the factions. Slowly upgrading the ship opens up new avenues and improvements that make a noticeable difference to your next missions. Each faction has distinct lore and a techtree, and it is worthwhile learning about this to better prepare for missions, i.e. maxing out certain resistances. The game is tough, and that is certainly part of the experience. The devs did a great job allowing players to customise the difficulty in a granular fashion (not just normal, hard, etc). What is unnecessarily tough is the lack of information about the faction metagame. This, unfortunately, you have to figure out yourself and/or go look at playthroughs. Overall, it is a great game; clearly a labour of love, which the devs keep tweaking and improving.
Great example of reworked old school RPG style. Try it without any guides and wiki, it will open layer by layer. Game is full of content and interesting mechanics and death is part of game and not the end.
Honorable!
