I've been playing this since early access, and it's only gotten better over time. The Devs delivered on the original premise, and have been pushing fixes and QoL improvements since launch. It's a shame they scaled back from the idea of having the full Solar System, but there's still plenty of places. 10/10. Would Cannibalize middle managers and Communists for profit again.
Solid game.
Quasimorph is a rogue-like/lite in a compact nut shell and has enjoyable moments. Nothing beats gearing up for a mission and totally curb stomping space pirates, space demons and space robots. You will enjoy this game if you a) love reading to comprehend b) are a sucker for punishment c) enjoy the slow grind to finally materialize your own personal version of a space demon killer merc for hire You will not enjoy this game if you a) do not properly prepare before a mission b) are a sucker for punishment c) hate starting over each time a minor mistake is made. The gameplay is not revolutionary, but the world building and setting is. The gameplay loop is addictive and you will find yourself saying "just one more turn" almost everytime you're about to finish your gaming session. Quasimorph on the "fun scale" is subjective and I rate it 8.5 / 10. Some of the merc builds are unique and as of writing this, I'm confident that one particular build will get nerfed soon as it's totally OP (Kunai). If you like challenging, turn based strategy and enjoy killing space demons with zero remorse, this is a great title to sink dozens of hours into.
>Be Me >Enter mission with fully maxed out clone >Think ez implant farm >Find victim >Attack >Miss >Get exploded and pushed of the map >Die >ALT + F4 This game is F****** BS, I love it 10/10
Give a dog a bone, he'll eat for a day. Give a dog an assault rifle, and he'll...bah, you wouldn't get it. Just play the game. 12/10
100+ hours in Quasimorph is legally recognized as grounds for an insanity defense.
