After defeating Shub-Niggurath, you arrive back at your home base on Earth, but it's not all blue skies and butterflies. Apparently, not all QUAKE forces have been subdued. Chaos ensues as you blast your way through the QUAKE minions and toward the infested gateway. Your only choice is to find the source of evil and shut it down.

Если это не лучшая игра в мире, то тогда я натурал.
It's a awesome expansion a bit on the short side I finished it on normal around 3.5 hours give or take, on Steam Deck without tweaking anything and played on non-GL version. Like the other reviewers said it's a completely different style than Quake 1. It leans on more the action side than horror.
Gremlins and Fun Music - the addon
2-3 hours campaign Direct sequel to the base game - after Shub's death - new alien species tries to take over the Portal Rifts or whatever New enemies - most notable - Gremlins who can steal your weapons - for a game of that year - amazing At the end - pretty fun boss - looks like a Strogg New music is fun - does not sound like base game ost at all Levels starts in futuristic base - eventually there's gonna be a lot of castles New weapons are weird and meh 8/10

Score 91/100 Surprisingly, I score this one slightly higher than the core game. New weapons and enemy types help spice things up a bit, while new level ideas and environmental hazards up the ante to make gameplay more interesting. This mission pack is decent in length, although it is frustrating at times thanks to the tendency to throw large waves at enemies at you with occasionally poor consideration for resources available vs. those expended. Still, fun game, and with a more fun and straightforward final boss than the original game.
It's more of the the original Quake stuffs! What more can I say?!

+1
No longer on Steam, so this review is pointless. But, if you like Quake this is nice to have.
It's pretty good. Shame you can only get it through Bethesda & Nightdive now. In a now deleted tweet, the Bethesda twitter account posted screenshot from Indiana Jones implying they don't care that a fascist is gone. A week out from sept 10th, its thinly veiled ref on Kirk. When Trump was pew pew'ed Nightdive studio head said that supporters deserved it too.
