⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – The Game That Ruined Other Games for Me
I don’t say this lightly: this is the best game I have ever put serious time into.
Not “best in its genre.”
Not “best this year.”
Best. Period.
From the moment I booted it up, I knew I was in trouble—in the good way. The kind of trouble where you say “one more run / one more mission / one more turn” and suddenly it’s 3:47 AM, your drink is warm, your posture is destroyed, and you’re already mentally planning your next session while shutting the game down.
The gameplay loop is dangerously good. Everything feeds into everything else in a way that feels intentional, polished, and absurdly satisfying. Whether you’re learning mechanics, optimizing your playstyle, experimenting, or just vibing and letting muscle memory take over, the game always feels like it’s rewarding you for engaging, not just playing.
The pacing is near-perfect. There’s always something pulling you forward—new mechanics, meaningful progression, genuine “oh damn” moments where you realize how deep the system actually goes. Nothing feels like filler. Nothing feels like it exists just to pad playtime. Every hour feels earned.
And the feel of the game? Immaculate. Controls are tight, feedback is crisp, and when something works, you feel it. When you mess up, it’s on you—and that’s exactly how it should be. The game respects your intelligence and your time, which is way rarer than it should be.
The audio and visuals deserve their own praise. Whether it’s subtle atmosphere or full-on intensity, the sound design and music elevate every moment. It’s the kind of soundtrack that gets burned into your brain—so much so that you’ll catch yourself thinking about it when you’re not even playing.
But what really pushes this into 10/10 territory is how memorable it is.
This is one of those games that creates stories without trying to. You’ll remember specific runs, moments where everything clicked, near disasters that somehow worked out, or decisions you’re still thinking about hours later. Those are the games that stick. This one sticks hard.
I’ve put an embarrassing amount of time into it, and somehow it still feels fresh. That’s the highest compliment I can give. I’m not grinding out of obligation—I’m playing because I want to. Because it’s fun. Because it’s good. Because it hits that rare sweet spot where challenge, mastery, and enjoyment all overlap.
If you’re on the fence: don’t be.
