What a wonderful game experience this was, for a free game that was inspired by one of my favorite game series I am definitely impressed, give it a try for yourself it's free so theres absolutely no harm in trying it out, if its not for you at least its free right?

This game hurt me. So much. Once again the art, writing, and voice acting is impeccable, and that made it hurt worse. 10/10 would cry again, I'm so glad I've played this series.
banger
10/10 would cry over my son all over again
10/10 I love emotional storytelling and making me truly care for the characters
I knew what was coming because of malViolence, but man, they did not give me enough warnings about the emotional damage that it contains- If you want a good read, this is pretty good as a standalone story (though no gameplay aside from reading and clicking)
#StopSTOP make it trend i was completely uncomfortable through this whole vn
well, except for the explosion, the explosion was good

dr. danger please hire me to help you build bombs
its rlly good ;-;
So Mado reached out to me asking if I wanted to play the Violence Series a while ago, being a big fan of Visual Novels, I of course said yes. After I sank my teeth into what malViolence had to offer, I knew I had play the prequel immediately after. What I didn't expect, was a haymaker in the gut. Whereas malViolence hints at the dark world the characters inhabit, protoViolence pulls back the curtain to expose all of the grime and grim-dark elements that makes the main characters who they are. It has to be the most disturbed I've felt in a while regarding Sci-fi Fiction, but at the same time, it was just the right amount of raw shock and horror this origin story deserved. Each of the characters felt human, flawed and vulnerable. The visuals were innocent to begin with, lulling me into a false sense of security that was smashed later on. Listening to certain voice lines hurt my soul in ways I didn't expect. I felt the exact same things that Dr. Deidre was feeling thanks to this amazing coordination of artistic expression. I won't go into details as to why you should play it to avoid spoiling you, but I will remind you, it's a free gut punch, and malViolence is free too. Highly recommend you play that first to understand the foreshadowing. 10/10, I've never felt more like a monster while reading text on a screen.
