protoViolence - Definitive Edition

This game goes way more in depth with the story than it did in the first game. MY HEART HURTS I LOVE IT Everything is so well done the character portraits, the cgs, the music. Such a good kinetic novel that really gets you in the feels. I highly recommend!

I have played MalViolance on Itch and this is how i discovered the game. I deeply fell in love with Cautionne and when i found out this game had a prequel i just HAD to get to it. So i made the decision to play it last night and i have to say.. It's been a really long while since i was faced with a game that had such an emotional impact on me. In a lot of scenes i could relate to Pavel, which made it even harder not to love him, (Not that i tried-) but in a lot of times i found myself in Destranges position. Being utterly speechless by what i had to see. It made me think. Angie didn't sit right with me from the start. There was something about the way she spoke that was off to me. Usually i am the type of guy that doesn't really feel anything if it comes to games, so when i DO feel something it proves to me that the game is written fantastically! Another aspect that had me smiling was the fantastic animations and art. I am an artist myself and i am a ABSOLUTE sucker for a good art style and character designs. (I designed and drew the character on my pfp.) Designing characters and making wonderful stories is my absolute favorite thing to do, so i would like to say that i know how to appreciate it.
