Very good, bought it to satisfy my Ace Combat cravings, and it's basically ace combat, but with more modes, also the DLC is $5, which is worth the price. Needs work on the "next target" mode, but other than that, works like a dream. Runs well on steam deck, but will dip below 15 frames when there's a lot happening, also the text is really small, even on a regular monitor. 9/10, desperate for a sequel.

ever wanted to blow up australians, americans, brits and french people using planes? install this game.
Very cool game, the story and the characters are awesome and have real soul behind it, you really get a deep connection with your squad . Highly recommend
mecha but plane game nothing but respect for these indie devs. positively banger game! (edit: also, this runs extremely well for its visuals - easily in between 90-144fps on my middling rig for most of the missions before the orange sets in)
best plane game out there
I am loving the high paced combat with arcadish physics. Runs really smoothly even on high graphical settings. And the graphics are amazing
some solid gameplay that scratches an itch that very few games are able to even in the niche. plays great, looks more than fine even with its humble file size, there's nothing to bemoan. especially considering that there's a whole other mode alongside the campaign to just let you play the game. i guess, if i'm nitpicking, that the length of the story missions is kind of an issue? it being an issue or a non-issue depends on your point of view i suppose, but because of their length and the lack of checkpoint, you're kind of pushed to play it safe. not particularly enticing to get shot down 20 minutes into a mission and having to re-do all of it. but i guess that's also its strength if you look at it from the lens of being more a sim game. ultimately will depend on where you land on what you want out of it. missions are solid and the story is unhinged though, so i guess that offsets it. some cool setpieces too help alleviate the nitpick for me. the price is more than fair and what's on offer is pretty good. a solid time.
