Mmmmmmmmmmmm, this game really hits that Ace Combat spot of the brain. Forget realistic plane combat; this is the arcade jet fighter game you're looking for. Now, for the real review. It doesn't really have multiplayer, but the alternative game mode is a fantastic way to 'establish' a past for the player character, and it also offers post-story content, even if it does take place before the main story. It was fun to play, but it has some 'crusty' edges. Still, that gives it charm. The lack of autosave can be infuriating as it makes you reluctant to take risks, so those tunnel-flying parts Ace Combat has aren't so... inviting to the player. But the scale of combat gives you an epic feeling that's hard to describe. I would recommend a flight stick or controller to play this game, however. It's not impossible with a keyboard and mouse, but you're not going have as good a time with it. I have yet to try the VR mode, and will update the review when I have.

Good plane game.

Really fun game. Can be challenging if you want to, using different equipment to complete the same missions.

The only thing I don't like about it is that I suck at it. Prez best waifu.

Pure love letter to the Ace Combat series. Banger of a game.
