Project Wingman

Got Ace Combat 7 and was instantly turned off by the main menu with no support for a mouse, wonky and extremely limited cockpit freelook that's literally unusable because it's been tossed in from consoles and not ported properly, forced extremely narrow FOV which apparently is still the same in Ace Combat 8 and impossibility of freelooking without holding down yet another button. 30 seconds into Project Wingman without touching a single setting and you quickly realize how incredibly lazy Project Aces has become. What I will say is that Project Wingman still feels in a beta stage at times. Binding a function to Right Click closes the menu because that' what Right Click does, but should be disabled during keybinds. Once got a setting menu permanently stuck on screen even while unpausing the game. Had to restart the game because it was still there in the main menu. Binding Yaw to K and L for some reason don't work. Poor checkpoints. Minor gripes though, At the moment i would 100 times play this over Ace Combat 7, a game that still hasn't improved some features since the PS2 era.

It is a terrifying feeling of being chased by 20 missiles while destroying geothermal power plant. Amazing game!

Surprisingly good story, fun gameplay too! If you enjoyed Ace Combat 7, you will most likely enjoy this game as well.
