Nearly one half of Syria’s 23 million people have been displaced in its civil war and no group has been as severely affected as children. Children make up more than half of the three million refugees living in camps some news reports indicate that children are actually being specifically targeted in the violence.

If this game has any message, it's either that War is hell (but then everyone knows that) or that "University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts" doesn't produce any talent or arts... I'm gonna go with the later, cause first one was is too obvious. Also debug messages in first scene...
This is a great game. It really opened up my mind to the struggles of these war torn countries and their inhabitants. Everytime I play this game my depression just melts away like the skin of someone covered in napalm. Any negatives thoughts are instantly blown away like they were struck by a large scale mortar strike. I think it's safe to say this game is a solid 9/11. I recommend to anyone who feels they are being crushed by their emotions, because although your emotions weigh heavily on your shoulders, they are still lighter than the rubble from a destroyed building falling on the backs of the cowering families who were hiding inside.
The immersion doesn't kick in. Even free, this simply isn't worth it. However, the basic idea of using VR to make a human connection to people and groups we only see described in dry news feeds is the kind of unsexplored posibilities that makes me get exited about VR. Also, this VR experience annoyed a lot of racist nutters! For this reasons, I clicked the thumbs up - this is the kind of stuff that gives me hope for our future. But don't download - instead, imagine what this could have been.
berbat daha iyi bir şey bekliyordum oyun saçma sapan takılıyor indirip internetinizi boşuna harcamayın.
Project Syria is a free VR Experience of a tragedy ripped from the news. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index and Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. As a VR program, it worked. It says press Any Key on keyboard to start but only the T key worked. Warning: Don't bother Downloading. Despite being free it was not worth the download. You're basically just standing still while being transported from scene 1 to the next 2 scenes. During this you get some very basic information about how many kids refugees there is from Syria, and it's over within 3 minutes. This information from the narrator, you could have gotten from reading a webpage article The devs was lazy on this one. I have seen some of their other works on Steam and thought they were ok but this one was badly done imho. It starts out in the middle of some intersection of a urban area maybe in Syria. A kid singing to a crowd. The men and women just stared at her and then all the sudden! Explosion Then Smoke everywhere. Fade to black Fade in, we are at a refugee camp storehouse with rations being handed out, Fade to black Fade in, 5 children are around a campfire in front of a shelter then ghostly child cutouts and more shelters and tents start filling up the space around your seated position. Fade to black, and credits.
Ok, so wow, I'm in an alleyway somewhere in some random city. There's trash everywhere on the street. Pretty much everything is dilapidated, and everony's just standing around. Not going anywhere, not really working, or doing anything. Looking around, it's clear that no one taught these idiots how to park, or drive, or what the intended purpose of a sidewalk is. Some random child is screeching out some horrendous song and I'm wishing someone would drop a bomb on her ♥♥♥ just to shut her up. Then it happens, there's a rubling crunching noise followed by a high pitch whine, which i assume means a bomb got dropped. Everyone runs away.. My first thought was "Thank god, I couldn't take much more of that screeching child. It sounded like a miserable cat." I turn around and there's some dude picking up little kid and running off with him.. Doesn't bother to call a medic, just grabs the body and runs off.. But whatever, I guess he's hungry.. Scene fades out. Next scene, I'm in a tent surrounded by food. Not bad I guess, except stuff's just stacked everywhere like no one cares. There's trash and rubbish mixed in with the food, the floor isn't clean and the tiles weren't even laid in right... I know, tiles.. In a tent.. But whatever.. Some dude is haggling with a customer on the other side of a bench. Not sure what they were talking about, I was too amused at the fact that his "shop" was a filthy tent and he didn't even care enough to stack stuff up or sweep the floor. He didn't even bother to refrigerate "farm fresh" milk.. Apparently the woman didn't have any money and thought too highly of herself to offer to clean his place up in exchange for enough food to eat that night. Guess she's going hungry.. Sucks to be her.. Or maybe she ought to just suck some D.. Who knows.. Final scene, I'm in a field, surrounded again, by trash. There's a tent nearby where some kids are BSing around a fire. More ghostly kids start appearing, More tents.. More and more trash... I feel like I'm in some kinda bizzare shooter game. Without any weapons. Vive controllers don't do anything, can't move around, can't punch or stab them... There's a narrator explaining some random ♥♥♥♥, but all I can think of is how these ghost kids need to learn to clean the place up and take out the garbage.. Lazy ♥♥♥♥ers... The scene goes black and some text appears.. I'm glad, because I don't have to look at bags of trash anymore.. What did I learn? 1. Syrians are a bunch of lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that live in filth because they are too lazy to do anything except stand around. 2. Syrian singing is horrible. 3. I was relieved when the bomb finally hit and quieted things down. 4. Syrians are too lazy to offer to work in exchange for food when they don't have any money. 5. Syrians dont refrigerate milk. 6. Syrians won't clean their streets, their homes, or their businesses. 7. Syrian kids are lazy and worthless because they won't help clean stuff up either. And why not? It's not like they have a school to go to... I rate this 10/10. Would become an anti-syrian bigot again by watching this VR "experience"..
Обсуждать как политику эту игру нельзя, но , ♥♥♥♥♥, чертвоски хочется. Игра в целом не такая, чтобы сказать отличная, но на бесплатную тянет, я бы сказал
I love to watch children dying. Do you note, behind protruding nostalgia, the shadowy billow of laughter's surf? But I- in the reading room of the streets- have leafed so often through the volume of the coffin . Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayakovsky .
