The drawing is a new take on story games like this also the story is good but feels a little short. I would like to see more character Development. But all in all a good game and doesnt have a story like doki doki at all.
good story and character development. However the game tends to crash at pivotal story moments.

To be honest, it was one of worst VNs played by me (so far). Writing is very simple, containing typos, no depth. Sometimes prolonging dialogues and simplifying each situation. Game is very short (30 minutes is enough to discover all... in main story). There is Epilogue, but if you fail to notice that in main menu well... Characters sprites are weird. But background is okay. Music was not adding atmosphere. Overly simplistic, feeling like Doki Doki Literature Club ripoff. Here is little spoiler
as part of gimmick in DDLC (Doki Doki), there are glitches in the game planned all along, but here...
you encounter script errors in the game, which are intended, but they are not nice for people not familiar with Ren'Py.
Project Reset is not a game, it's an e-book ("Visual novel" is another term that writers use when trying to disguise an e-book as a game) that's been launched on Steam as a game, despite not being one. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which presents the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. The plot here is essentially a ripoff of Doki Doki Literature club, it's a high school drama fanfic, and so, so badly written. The difference here is that the developer didn't bother using an anime character picture generator like most e-book "authors" use, instead there's laughably bad attempts at drawing anime characters that have been shoved in. I guess that should be a new rule for amateur developers... if you can't draw... DON'T! Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to click your mouse every time you wanted to read the next sentence, instead of just turning the pages. You'd think it was garbage. Now imagine that experience, but with much worse writing (because if these guys could write professionally, they'd be published authors and this would be on shelves in bookstores, and they wouldn't have to pay Valve $100 to self-publish this on Steam), and you have your average Steam e-book. This e-book was slapped together with the godawfully bad RenPy Visual Novel/E-Book construction kit, so just like no professional writing took place here, no professional game development took place either, it's just a product of filling out templates in the construction kit. Due to the decision to use such a lazy, poor quality construction kit, this e-book doesn't have customisable resolution or any graphics tweaks, it won't display at your monitors native resolution and generally looks bad. It's not up to basic standards. This isn't even free, the developer has their hand out for a $1.00 donation "soundtrack" sale, so this is a lot more like digital panhandling. You can get better quality books and comics for free online or from public libraries (without anyone panhandling for loose change or "tips").
Score 2/10 Not good at all

Me and my good friend had a really fun time playing this together! I think I would've liked to see more options for the ending and to see some different loose ends tie together. While I think things were explained, I think there could have been a more personal way of handling it. Regardless, the art was cute and we still enjoyed it.
