PORTAL 3
I love experimental puzzle mechanics. N3T's signature mechanic is less interesting to me than R4T's, but you dont find new things without trying new things. UNFORTUNATELY: The announcer just WILL NOT shut up about the player character being "mute". The mechanics and puzzles are fun and experimental but the announcer's dialogue is so dogwater I couldn't even finish the 4th room. This game very obviously wants their announcer to be GLaDOS. Instead it made him a pitch-perfect copy of Wheatley. Its around the same level as "fatty-fatty-no-parents", now with more ableism gameplay: 7/10 story: 3/10
the puzzles are repetitive, idea had potential but its not R4T, typical worse sequel, hoping that 3 is a banger

I would recommend this game because of the prequel, but the controls are very janky and all the time it reverts/changes to random letters, example: If you imput "W" you move forward, but if you move the camera it can change to any direction. Besides that...i couldn't even activate the second puzzle, the metallic ball would't enter the hole, and if it enters, it resets the whole puzzle. I see the iniciation of this dev and I'm sure he could make this game much better.
First off Idk why Epcot is reviewing this game like its an Indie game that was funded to be made and not for what this is which is a school project. I also didn't encounter any of the bugs people where speaking of in the other negative reviews in my run, and I'd say its unfair for them to post negative reviews on this game as ya'll probably don't have the people to playtest the game besides ya'lls classmates. Now on to the actual review. Gave me a good chuckle at the start as I didn't expect the player having "Severe Social Anxiety" joke. I thought it was just gonna be a remake of the introduction from the first game. Also the new mechanics for the magnets is pretty cool. It can be a bit odd here and there like for instance I accidentally put the yellow ball in one of the first puzzles into a different colored hole and wasn't able to get it out of the hole once in. So I had to reset and be extra careful for the rest of the game. If ya'll use this again in the future ya'll should make a way to get the balls back out of the holes. I think the best used parts for the mechanic is with the magnet ball mazes. I thought that was a pretty cool idea. As an addition to that Idea I think a room could have it where you have to put some balls into holes to unlock a door to allow another ball to go through. Could be a neat Idea. I think the part where you have to hold the ball on the moving platform was a tiny bit too long but not a bad Idea. Also I got all the way to the end on the first attempt no problem only to fling the ball into the water when trying to put it into the hole so I had to do it again lol. Might've influenced me thinking it was too long. Anyways overall I think this is also another cool small school project. If ya'll have another school project or just your own game ya'll are working on I'd love to join a discord or something to provide feedback and help with anything relating to ya'lls future projects as I see great potential here.
its janky

Imagine playing Portal, but the portal gun would occasionally teleport you to a random location, or nowhere at all. That's what it is like dealing with the "magnets" in this physics puzzle game. Sometimes they work properly. Sometimes they don't. Sometimes you get launched in the air after being stuck in a crouch for 20 minutes. I've seen that the later games get better. They certainly would have had a hard time getting worse. Don't bother with this one.
Please fix the movement rotation tracking but and magnet bug
I love the controls so much !!!!! You have to press esc in the direction you want to go so it will go in that direction! so coooool! yey hoooraay!! I also love that magnets do not always work!!! so fun!! very realistic!!! like real life everything is broken !!
