Used to play in the past, tried to come back, but its kind of soul crushing. 1) Playing against bots gets boring real fast. 2) Majority of the people who still play are max levels playing for 20 years with all the best cards. You as a new player have a mountain of grinding to do to even make 1 deck competitive or you can throw money in the hole. 3) Once you make the deck, the abilities on units get reshuffled anyways, so now you're forced to change your deck by climbing another mountain to get the cards you're missing. 4) Since I started playing, I haven't been able to make a deck for anything but the 1 race I've been struggling to get cards for. And even now, I barely have a workable deck. 5) Majority of the community just leaves pvp as soon as they see you aren't max level. Overall: you will feel like you'll never get the cards you want, the few other players don't want to play with you, and once you make the deck you want the abilities of your cards will be changed anyways. If you didn't start playing 10-20 years ago, don't start now. Huge shame, game had such potential, but it really feels like the devs gave up or something.
This game has been around for 20 years, and despite that, it still gives a masterclass to many current turn based strategy games. The TCG elements are a bit outdated, but it is by no means P2W. You get daily content and enough single player campaigns to keep you entertained for a long time. The game offers missions to unlock precons for each faction, which serve as a great starting point. The sheer amount of viable deck variations you can build is incredible. Sadly, the community is very small, but people are always willing to teach you and help out with whatever you need. PvP is an absolute gem if you enjoy a challenge. They still update the game on a surface level and release patches to tweak the meta slightly, keeping things somewhat fresh. Bugs you might encounter arent big deal... most of the time a simple restart fixes it and you can always reconnect to your match if you were in one. Highly recommended!!

Fair warning: I'm biased here. I played Pox Nora back when it first came out, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it was still active (though now hosted by Steam). This is a surprisingly deep, satisfying game of tactical movement, explosive turns, and careful thought. I loved it a decade ago, and it's fun now. There's a smaller community now, but it's still a good time and there's lots of campaign-style content that can be enjoyed solo. Give it a go!

One of the best games i've ever had the joy of working on.
i've been casually playing PVE Pox for OVER A DECADE. it's a great game, built and maintained with LOVE/CARE and not for money.
Childhood game, still holds up altho the screen feels a bit, squished? And I wish the gold was more generous with how dead the game is, but its still trucking on and enjoyable
In 2026 there is no translation into Brazilian Portuguese, and it's ridiculous for such a good game, and a shame.
