I'm only voting no because It's not letting me even play the game, there is a cloud flare error.
If you are looking for an authentic online government simulation then this game is not for you. I've played power off and on for years now and when i get back on thinking the game has evolved for the better however it has not. my biggest issues are first the economy right now in game debt to GDP is almost 50% and GDP growth is at only 1% for the United States despite this it seems to have no effect on the economy and i mean nothing. government approval rating is at 20% poverty is at 30% but yet country stabalization is at 100%. How is that even realistic? and it doesn't matter how strong you are in your state you can have the biggest influence as a player above all other players if your not a democrat or republican you will not go far. for example if you have 80% state influence and your not a republican or democrat and ur running for the house against someone who has a 20% but is apart of one of those two party's despite what i mentioned about the economy and government approval rateing you will end up with 6 seats maybe while they will have 16 seats. its more about party power not you as a player and no matter how bad the economy gets or the poverty rate gets or if the approval rateing is 15% the AI will vote for the biggest party because democrats always vote for democrats and never vote republican or another party. which bring me to another point bills. Bills have an effect based on class of citizen for example the rich might like a bill you write but the poor wouldn't however this has no real effect on the game so there is favoritism in the game when it comes to passing bills. Bills cost 25 power and 10 influence to write and if it passes you as a player get an additonal 25 power if the bill fails then you lose 25 power. However since bills have no real impact on the game and if your a democrat or republican you are going to win ur seat back no matter what. people pass bills such as fix the toilet seat in the congress bathrooms however lets say you want to raise the minimum wage from zero to 6 dollars the toilet bill will pass but the minimum wage bill will not. which brings me to another issue CEO's if you are a member of congress in any nation or even the head of state such as the president it is possable to hold office and be a CEO of a business that has alot of problems in itself stay away from this game. despite the picture there are only two country's you can play in one is the United States the other is Britain that is in there is no china no europe no canada no mexico or japan just the US and Britain.
