Fun, but incredibly frustrating and difficult to complete sets If you are like me and enjoy putting together fun decks to battle the computer and other players, then don’t pay extra for the premium pass. Even with the extra pack each day, it is extremely tough to put a full set together and even tougher to get doubles to build your deck around. I thought the premium pass would allow me to complete a set on my own, but you will absolutely have to rely on trading. And getting multiple of the 2nd stage Pokémon is tough, let alone the EX Pokémon. Even more frustrating, although the wonder pick odds should be 20%, my real odds are far less than that. I almost think Nintendo has purposely added code to lower the odds. I have opened 73 packs of the 72 card Team Rocket series and am still missing 1 EX card. And I have now failed to wonder picking that card 10 times now. And there are several one and two star Pokémon that I haven’t even pulled. Great game, but I wouldn’t advise spending real money until they can guarantee better pull rates or something to make it worthwhile. I had the same experience without the premium pass. As I said before, great game but frustrating beyond belief. Pleeease make it less frustrating Nintendo. I am not giving my money away for a game that makes me so angry.

moving to AI trashed solo play Since the revamp of the Player vs Computer modes, the computer has been intentionally playing to tie to deny the win. and since this is a significant source of hourglasses, it puts a real hamper on non-paying players. F this, this game is going to the birds just like everything else AI touches. gonna buy a GBC offa ebay and have more fun playing a 30 year old pokemon game instead of this shidd

Overall good I like the constant updates, but sometimes it feel’s a little too often, I sometimes can’t even finish the card Dex before the next one comes out, but still really fun!

Predatory Just don’t even try. Intentionally painstaking design purely designed to annoy you enough so that you spend money. Horrifically evil attempt at addicting children to gambling mechanics.

Would be 5 stars if yall take out the guaranteed one star and above noise with the EX cards Worst update making the ex cards with the one star and above noise

Statistical Anomalies Terrible RNG

Strangely Annoying Opening packs is very annoying. Unless you open ten packs at once it takes forever. If I can open two packs at once I'd like to open both at the same time, not cycle through the entire showcase while it loads through several different showcases of the same cards I've pulled in the past. It makes collecting cards very tedious and honestly annoying. For the first month I wasn't too bothered but I found myself not opening the app because I couldn't bother going through the annoying process of watching the app waste my time. It's a neat app and it's fun playing the card game with the cards I've drawn. However, it's just so clunky and unsatisfying.
