Pokémon Masters EX

Better than Pokemon GO and it still holds up Recently found out about this game via the App Store; now I can't stop playing it due to the overstimulating effects and continuous attempts of getting them 5 star characters (there's a dating sim too!!!)

A great game for any Pokemon fan. I’ve been playing this game since it released in 2019. I’ve been through all of the ups and downs. I’ve been a huge fan through it all. If you want a game that builds on the Pokemon characters you know and love, this is the game for you. Play at your own pace, or pay for gems/bundles to enhance your experience. Luck is a huge factor in gameplay. If “rolling the dice” is not your forte, this game might not be for you. Otherwise, I recommend this game to anyone who likes Pokemon (human characters emphasized), level-up mechanics, and turn-based battles.

greedy greedy boy after the first story arc (PML) they barely give you any free gems as rewards anymore, most certainly not enough to do sync pair pulls. but the paid gems are over $20 just for 4k! 10-11 sync pair pulls for upwards of $25! on a mobile game! and you arent even guaranteed to get any good ones! you could spend $200 just to not get the character you want, which is absolutely absurd levels of greed for a game of this quality (which is not great). i dont even know who’s spending money on that BS, because it’s absolutely ridiculous and biblical levels of greed.

I’m addicted This game is one of the best I played! Even though I couldn’t log in, I ended up getting in and got shown how good this game is. A lot of the music is amazing and I haven’t come back to TCG Pocket since. The story was great, and the Lodge basically keeps me happy when I’m sad. I hope we get more content soon!💛

Nostalgia and Amazing New Fun All in One! As someone who grew up with Pokémon, the idea of this game interested me. I held back because being a mobile game I was concerned about the whole pay to play thing. I finally decided to take the plunge and I’m so glad I did. This feels like a brand new Pokémon game that has practically every character you love in it. You can have them on your team to work with you and my favorite feature is that you can actually build bonds with them! I’ve always loved the characters of Pokémon so it’s so awesome to see them get more depth with their characters and stories. The biggest thing to me that brings me joy is everyone is voiced. It brings these characters to life and makes me love them more. I absolutely adore they went the extra mile for some of these characters from different regions to have accents too! I’ve been playing for a month now and I absolutely love this game. It’s super fun to play especially if you love the characters. DENA as of while I’ve been playing has also been not only responsive for any questions but super generous with the currency you get in the game too! (Without paying even!) Especially with the celebration going on right now! Overall it’s a blast to play. How I’ve been playing is just trying to get characters I love and ignore the meta for right now. For me it makes it more fun to have them on your team and even greet you when you log in. Play how you want though if you decide to give it a shot. Either way for me I’d say it’s an absolute blast!

Awesome Add more legendary adventures please for some other legendary, mythical, and paradox Pokémon too

Game crash Sick and tired of the game freezing and crashing every time I switch where I want to go, or after a battle, or before a battle, or after I scout, or after I scout, etc. Any action taken in this game is a coin flip on whether it crashes or not. And I have an iPhone 15 with the most up to date version of the game.

Well made but absolutely infuriating The entire premise of this game is extraordinarily frustrating In the way how unlike other Pokemon games, you can’t even have your own Pokemon you only have a trainer and Pokemon sync pair, not to mention how your character has basically no role in the stories whatsoever and just stands there or battles a barrage of npcs. Your character should be able to use any of the Pokemon they obtain, it’s just not fun.

Decent game but too much gacha/p2w mechanics The battle system is fun and collecting the pokemon would be cooler if not attacked to a trainer. I also don’t like the lodge affecting the Pokémon’s strength in battle. I don’t want to interact with AI versions of characters I have no interest in in order for my pokemon to be as strong as possible. But the gacha mechanics and making it so hard to get multiple of the same sync pair really drags. And the fact that if I just had the money to spend I could have them but it cost thousands to get multiple sync pairs 5 times. And that’s just one example of a p2w mechanic. But all that being said the elite four is a fun event that changes weekly and you can collect and have fun playing with game without competing with the whales in the Gym system. If I could say one thing to the devs it would be get rid of the lodge or at least make it not affect the strength of Pokemon. I wish they’d get rid of the gacha and p2w aspect but I know they won’t but maybe they will fix the lodge.
