Really neat game which executes its simple premise practically perfectly
The smug pigeon mocks me whenever I mistype but very fun and challenging cozy game!

这游戏是真他妈难 why this game so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard

"Poetry Pigeon" is, frankly, a nightmare in terms of game conceptualisation. Take the garbage waste of everyone's time (that was of course popular with mobile gamers), Flappy Bird, and replace the keyboard bashing with more precise keyboard poetry typing. What a truly awful idea. What do you do in the game? Type poems to keep the bird flapping without running into the pipes. Yeah, the developer was so creatively bankrupt they didn't even bother trying to come up with something other than the pipes from Flappy Bird. Did you know it's actually copyright infringement to steal someone else's game and publish it yourself? It's true. Chinese companies that tried to rip off Tetris were sued by The Tetris Company in New Jersey and lost a considerable sum in damnages. Anyway, law breaking aside, this is garbage. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

This game is so pretty to look at that I can't help but feel calm, even as I struggle to actually finish the levels. The backwards levels are wild. Thank goodness for relaxed mode lol. Great little game! I'd honestly love if more poems were added.
10/10! Супер реалістична гра, я як представник голубиного народу можу сказати шо це сама найкраща гра в світі
