The neat premise with bullets as platforms. Using this gun you're solving platformer puzzles. Really pleasant and entertaining game.
I found this after I was recommended the video about this game's launch failing. I really like the platform gun mechanic, and the atmosphere of the game is actually really cool and mysterious and reminds me of flash games i used to play as a kid and also reminds me of super metroid. The only thing I'd say I'd add is maybe the ability to crouch? I'm not completley finished with the game yet but I'm enjoying it so far.
A fairly good concept that’s pretty well executed. The ride and speeding up bullets mechanic is used in a lot of different ways. There are a couple balance issues though, the health stations take needlessly long to recharge, the turrets kill you way too quick and the room with the acid floor is way too punishing. Overall, it's a fairly solid game.

Very neat concept, could definitely be expanded on. PS: Currently following your Survivors clone guide on YT, having a lot of fun making it :)
Pretty decent for a first game. Though
that one room with the many purple ogre things was a bit confusing,
I definitely liked the main mechanic for this game. I came from a youtube video from last year, but only got around to playing it today. The dev has great potential for future projects. (also, please fix that one typo in the keybind settings where "Default" is spelled like "Defaul".)

It's good, it's fun, it's challenging, it's unique, it's as short as it needs to be. The developer tried some kind of hack to make the game stay fullscreen, by having it always be on top of other windows. But this breaks the fullscreen options. And alt tabbing doesn't work. Since other reviewers mentioned it, the graphics aren't horrible, they're fine. It works. It's consistent. It's distinguishable. There's more care behind them than many games out there.
Steam is drowning in thousands of lazy, low-effort 2D platformers, and "Platform Gun" is yet another one. I'm not kidding, there's over 17,000 platformers on Steam, almost all of them are garbage, amateur kitbashes. This is not one of the good ones. This platformer relies on bad quality and a gimmick where you not only shoot bullets to kill enemies, but you can also stand on them and use them as platforms... this kind of innovating thinking is welcome, but should not take place without first thinking about whether Steam is going to welcome yet another garbade 2D retro platformer on the store (we can see from the player counts below that the answer was "no"). Believe it or not this has at least got a minor story, you control the gun guy and escape from a space station. I never said it was a good story... in fact I am not sure why they even bothered. At least they tried. The platforming genre is pretty much obsolete... just a tiny number of professionally developed platformers exist on PC and offer any real value or interest to gamers (Silksong, etc). This is nowhere near being as good as Hollow Knight or Silksong. Even without a price tag, it is easy to see why gamers ignored this in favor of modern, professionally developed 3D games. This is offering nothing new or interesting, so it's easy to see why this failed. In terms of visuals, this features really godawful MS-Paint tier "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. The deplorably bad visuals here come across as an insult to gamers. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Even as a free game, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of only 3 players, it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time playing this. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Pass on this one. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.
Short platformer with a fun idea and good execution. Hope to see more!
