I usually don't review games but for ***** SAKE in this case i HAD to do it, ok so first this game has a problem to accomodate certain builds, after a losing streak you start losing more hearts than normal, which messes you up if you're going for a money build or something that is weak at the start of the game (since your monsters won't have strong abilities on their own), and then another problem strikes in Either: The game apparently doesn't properly check for tiers or progression in the matchmaking. Or the matchmaking is not working as intended. At my third battle in a run which was going well i suddenly had to face off an opponent with a FULL team, and even had evolved monsters, among them there were some which i couldnt recognize and was like (why won't RNG give me something like that?) then as the run progressed i eventually met that monster, AND GUESS WHAT? IT WAS A TIER 6 MONSTER. Like, how the HECK am i supposed to deal with someone that is on tier 6 while i'm barely scrapping for stuff at tier 1-2, what's worse is that in just a single battle after i got to tier 6 i met a person that had TWO FULLY EVOLVED TIER 6 MONSTERS, and all other monsters of lower tiers were evolved, like, what THE HECK am i supposed to do against that when i've just unlocked tier 6 and i'm like probably like 50 matches behind my opponent. Also another thing: the encyclopedia in this game is ******* useless, ude the important information about that character in game, like it's stats and abilities, flavor text is nice but it's not what a player is looking for when trying to see what he can build. I get that you're trying to match pokémon dex entries and all but for a roguelike game you would atleast want information about THE ACTUAL GAME Y'KNOW?, you need to actually play the offline mode and win a run with that specific mon in your team to get access to that kind of information and even then you won't get information about the ACTUAL ABILITIES, just flavor text, also: just seeing a monster when agaisnt a player online ins't enough to get that flavor text, you have to actually win a run with that specific monster in your team to unlock it, so far i've only done that on singleplayer and dunno if that can be accomplished in the online modes. other than this the monsters actually seem nice and the dev has done a nice job at the pixel art to look like the old pokémon games overall, the gameplay actually looks fun and the, but the game desperately needs some changes in balance and matchmaking

It's a simple and fun game. There's quite a lot of content as there is the normal pvp mode and a story mode as well with its own world map and characters. The characters even change as you level them up. The grid based auto-battle system can be tricky for people at first as that is a very tough thing to balance but there is a lot of fun to be had with this game.
Честно, не понял как играть. Это не изза бед инглиш, а просто я как то умудрился проиграть на начальной локации, и я вообще не понимаю как можно там выйграть
Man, I really want to like this game. The concept is really fun and its a neat little autobattler. I got to the fire gym, and I just can't see anything at all. Every single tile has a giant column of light on it every time a certain critter gets hit. Really weird visual choice compared to the grass thorns in the first gym. Overworld movement is also a bit erratic, I kept getting clipped on corners in the overworld.
Versus battles don't load. Stuck on "attempting to pull from serve"
I was having a lot of fun with it and then the fifth battle in the earth arena in story mode just consistently crashed the game for me. I tried restarting, I tried ending other tasks on the PC, nothing worked. The terrain just broke the whole game. I'd love to finish the story mode and see what other things the game has to offer, but I cannot advance because of this issue. EDITED: I logged onto the game again after the devs mentioned they fixed the issue I experienced previously, to see if I could make it past that fifth battle. I didn't even get into the FIRST battle because now the shop is bugged and starts me with 0 coins, or if I reset, sometimes 0 coins and 0 items.
I really REALLY want to like this game, but it just isn't there. It feels like there are only a handful of team "comps" and many pixelitos that are just there to bait you into losing (The neutral diagonal attacker for example). My main gripe is currently a lot of teams require a late game pixelito or to come online, there are a lot of "jank" off meta teams that could work, but you'll be hemorrhaging hp to get to a point where it comes online. It feels like by the time you get something up and going, you're either into "elite" mode or you're dead. The type chart is incomplete with certain types having only 1 type they are weak against, while others have 2. This makes certain Tier 1 and Tier 2 pixelitos very strong, and deviating from these means you'll lose early hp.
eu achei o jogo muito bom, ele só precisa ser menos esquizo ou estupidamente colorido, as vezes doi na vista e fica muita coisa na tela, mas a jogabilidade eu achei muy legal
This is pretty fun and it's free! Give it a try!
