Ping Pong League

Petit jeu de ping-pong en VR simple & étonnement assez réaliste au niveau de la physique pour le prix de rien... Après un petit temps d’adaptation, on pourra faire quelques beaux échanges avec l'IA qui en fonction des 3 modes de difficulté servira toujours de la même façon. Forcément un peu plus compliqué qu'en vrai avec le champ de vision réduit du casque & sans retour de forces ou vibrations de la balle/raquette. Avec les contrôleurs du Vive, il faudra le tenir tourné de 90° pour avoir la raquette droite, un peu bizarre & pas très pratique... ça reste bien sympathique au final pour se redonner une petite dose de ping-pong vite fait. Sinon, le multi doit être vide ou non fonctionnel...

"Ping Pong League" as a VR exclusive table tennis simulator (and you can tell the guys behind it aren't fans of the sport, no professional players or serious fans call it Ping Pong). It seems to have been made VR exclusive to prevent people playing it and comparing it to other games, which is a comparison it fails badly at. Then, weirdly, they made it free, because I guess nobody would pay cash money for this. Unfortunately for free nobody wanted it. Seriously, if you have a VR headset just go play Alyx like everyone else. And what are they even doing here? Your opponent is your "Enemy"??? English much? I guess not. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming idustry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost youany money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, that's nothing.

The angle in which the bat is held is SO off that the game makes it way too straining to play longer than 5mins. I in fact tried it for almost 10 mins, and now i think i have to whow up in the ER, to ask for CTS-surgery. There are no options to adjust the angle in which the bat is held in the game. Sadly, "free" doesn't mean a game wouldn't come with a different price tag, which in this case means valuable health. Don't say you haven'tbeen warned, Deinstalled, and now, after finishing this review, i'm going to delete this shiny piece of seemingly unfinished crap from my library.
