Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh

The game itself isn't necessarily bad, but it is very finicky. If you don't do all of the necessary actions to move forward you won't be able to progress, and true to Sierra form some of the actions are convoluted and make no sense. Also make sure to save frequently, I was minutes from finishing the game and then it crashed. I lost about two hours of game progress. I have no intention of trying to finish the game after that. I'll just look the ending up. This game just wasn't as fun to play as the first Phantasmagoria. That being said, it is worth playing at least once. The story itself is pretty decent, in that mid-90s so bad its good kind of way.

Great ''game'' if you are high as ♥♥♥♥ and want to watch some B movie. Puzzles make no sense, like you cannot reach your wallet that is under your couch..... so you send your pet rat to fetch it and you have to bribe that rat with chocolate bar.

Story is no where near phantasmagoria 1 writing level. most puzzles don't make sense, you kind of go along with what works, there isn't much thinking involved. on top of all that the game crashes in the final puzzle right upon completion. It's not all bad, but not even close to being a "classic"

The short version A stupid hilarious dum funny mundane vs psychedelic tripping horror of the tongue in cheek in flesh point click and murder 1990s 0fg type game. Too much pedantic clicking but good laugh! steam sales help! the XP version the puzzles are sometimes logical and other times pointless and useless, the progression is a picky picky slag that keeps saying stuff like didnt we forget something inane and redundantly specific yet not very important overall?? but I kept clicking so I can shake my head and laugh as I really need the neck exorcise right now!if u can get on sale it shows promise in a budget mad pharma market for a casually askew tomorrow! The 'wow just drop the mushrooms and step TF away from the bag' version! Keep endlessly clicking your mouse until you try and understand the world before it changes your vision, holds you close. you can see all the details, you can see the hows and ifs, so u start to realise then it continues not to let you go, holding tighter, until you forget the distance is how you saw the bigger picture , as this perspective is the why of hows ifs and more! So close hold the fool til hes no questions to ask! But it is perception that they fear. when really we know the word conspiracy is no stranger than mud or foundation! an answer to, a question embroiled in a secretive transgression where causality reacts and multiples! a dead body?, an abusive habit sealed in memory and blood! and ..whatever the squiggling ♥♥♥♥ that is??... Screens infront of our faces searching like b4 but for words to justify how we must be! The choicelessness of being told how to be and the consequence of being who you are or what you must express in a zone that clearly states you must not be that! did u not read the sign? (sign: No stalking/killing of work colleagues or associates, thank you.) The rules of conduct are easy.. equality=we are all the same in that we are different money=♥♥♥♥ the rules ♥♥♥♥ your lives obey! Like a gamble where rock smashes scissors wich burn paper and the ceo escapes with the bullion content in the liquidation of the discrepancies! ..game over!
