Pets vs Zombies is one of those games that doesn’t ask much from you, but delivers a ton of fun in return. From the moment you jump in, you're thrown into chaotic action with hilarious animal heroes, each wielding their own over-the-top weapons. Whether you're blasting zombies as a gun-toting chicken or a rocket-launching croc, every character feels fresh and fun to play. The gameplay is quick, simple to pick up, and surprisingly addictive. The recoil from shooting actually adds a clever twist, helping you dodge enemies and making the action feel even more intense. Visually, it’s bright and smooth, and the music brings the perfect energy to the experience. It’s not a deep or complex game—and it doesn’t need to be. It nails the arcade feel, with satisfying upgrades, new maps to unlock, and plenty of silly charm to keep you coming back. While having a full-screen option on desktop would be a nice touch, it doesn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. If you're into fast-paced, funny games that you can jump into anytime and just have a blast, this one's a no-brainer. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s absolutely worth checking out!
Boring and broken. Your character is very slow in terms of mobility, and enemies are unfair; enemies are fast, have too much HP, and if they're next to you, they don't take damage. Grinding money is not hard, but very slow and tedious. After playing for more than an hour, I got booted out and now I can't access the game no matter how many times I try to play. This game is a broken waste of time. This is the worst Vampire Survivor type game I've ever played. Fcuk this game

I like the concept but hate how there is no limitation or clear target of the game. We just kill the zombie without any clear target such as why we kill the zombie? Or why is there a need to stay alive? Or more importantly, what is the purpose of the game? Do we just kill the zombie and that’s it? I sincerely hope there is a target in the future update for the game. For a quick shooting at the zombie aimed to get the fun out of it, there is still a need to preset a target on how the game would go. Even “vampire survivor” is revolving around the fact that it’s a vampire that tries to survive. I can see that the recoil of the game is very massive on some weapons. It got so big that you can’t even move forward while shooting forward (I use crocodile). I think there is a need for a balance there. It’s not like an AK-47 is something like a mini gun. If we use that for an example, there should be a balance here and there that needs to be fixed.

Its cute, but in my opinion, skins and weapons should be two different categories. Because I just wanna play as a cat all the time, and dont buy other skin, but to get the different weapon I NEED to buy another skin, and I dont like it at all
The recoil from shooting makes things feel tough and intense, which I actually enjoy. The game's challenge keeps me hooked, and the background music along with the sound effects really pull me into the atmosphere.
got all the achievements in 7 minutes, you can barely call it a game. It sucks...
🕹️ Fun but limited — a light arcade shooter with animal heroes and zombie chaos After 4 hours of playing Pet Hero vs Zombie, I can confidently say: it's a classic pick-up-and-play experience. I didn’t expect anything complex, and the game delivers exactly that — something simple, colorful, and perfect for short gaming sessions when you just want to shoot some zombies without diving into heavy storylines or complex mechanics. ✅ Pros: Graphics – Simple but charming. The cartoonish style really fits the animal heroes. Each character looks distinct and fun. Gameplay – Intuitive and smooth. Movement, shooting, and collecting coins all feel responsive. Character variety – I really enjoyed the chicken with the revolver. Each hero has a unique weapon, adding some diversity. Progression system – Weapon upgrades keep you motivated. Trying to survive just a little longer is addictive. Steam achievements – A nice touch for achievement hunters. ❌ Cons: Repetitive – After the second hour, everything starts to feel the same: wave after wave, with little variation in level design or enemy behavior. No multiplayer – This kind of game begs for co-op. It would be a lot more fun with a friend. Zombie AI – They're fairly predictable. The difficulty increases only because there are more of them, not because they get smarter. Music – It’s decent, but loops quickly and becomes repetitive. 🎯 Conclusion: If you’re looking for a quick and casual gaming fix after work — Pet Hero vs Zombie delivers. It feels like a game you'd find in an arcade, and that’s both its strength and its limitation. It doesn’t aim for depth, but it offers a few hours of light, satisfying fun.
