Pretty fun game. My main complaint is that the last ~15% of the game (including the new Royal content) is dragged out considerably. There's too much filler dialogue for my tastes (even as a VN enjoyer) but some people will enjoy that aspect a lot.

Persona 5 Royal is a game with a soul. I absolutely love the art style and level design. Everything has so much personality, and the game has a really strong visual identity. The characters were great too, even if I felt some of them didn't get the same level of attention or development as others. The gameplay is really fun, and I especially liked abilities like Insta Kill. Not having to go into a full fight every time made exploring less tedious and helped keep the game from becoming boring when dealing with weaker enemies. But for me, Maruki was the chef's kiss of the game. Really interesting character, and honestly much deeper than I expected. I love the irony of him being someone who desperately wants to save other people from their past and their suffering, while being completely unable to save himself from his own past. his whole character is built around wanting to help people, but his own pain ultimately shapes the way he tries to "save" everyone. That gave him a lot more depth than I expected, and made the final part of the game much more interesting for me. Overall, Persona 5 Royal is a fantastic experience. Not every character gets the same amount of attention, but the style, music, characters, gameplay, and especially Maruki make this a game I'll remember for a long time.

Это JRPG, и пошаговый геймплей подойдет не всем. Он затрагивает не только романтику с противоположным полом, но и построение дружеских связей. Не просто так серия Persona славится этим. В пятой части механика достигла своего пика: на протяжении всей игры хотелось выстроить хорошие отношения со всеми персонажами. Местами игра казалась затянутой, но не геймплейно (как это было в «тройке»), а в целом. Однако чувство быстро проходит, когда доходишь до кульминации разных событий. Сразу приходит понимание, что гейм-дизайнеры и сценаристы всё сделали грамотно, и ты получаешь классные эмоции от прохождения.
