I bought this game last year but dropped it because the constant choice paralysis got to me. Trying to optimise everyday took the fun out of it. This year, I came back with a 100% guide and never looked back. Not having to worry about maxing every Social Link let me focus on what really mattered: the combat and more importantly, the story. The characters are incredibly well written, and I found myself genuinely invested in each of them. Just be careful of the ninja cutting onions when playing this game...
This game taught me that robots hold an emotional range far beyond that of my own.
Persona 3 Reload... final game in the modern trilogy for me and honestly liked it a bit better than I expected. Coming from Persona 5 Royal as my first persona game, this game falls a bit short in gameplay aspects but nonetheless similar to Persona 5's combat system. I would say the battling is the most satisfying/fun part of the game, outside of that though, gameplay feels a bit.. tedious? repetitive? I mean after a while I found myself spending evenings doing nothing but increasing my social stats, then after finishing that I literally just had to skip days at a time because nothing was going on and I was already so caught up ahead on what I was supposed to be taking my time on. Majority of the game feels pretty bland until it progresses, which even then for the amount of time you spend trying to progress the pace feels pretty slow starting out but it's a classic persona formula for the games to pick up after July or so. Story felt full of more plot twists than Persona 4 Golden (which is odd to say because that game was more of a murder mystery plot than an actual story.) More unexpected plot twists here, I could say I enjoyed them. The story is brutal, but the premise behind it is beautiful. The music was also ... half and half? I've never listened to the OG soundtrack but some tracks became a little unbearable half way through the game. Tartarus theme, Want To Be Close after a few months, and some of the battle themes unfortunately. Persona 4 and 5 definitely take the cake for soundtracks for me but this is opinion based, enjoy what you want. Overall I would say I enjoyed the game. The emotions were as high as P5R for me, the ending was good but takes a while and some effort to get to. You could honestly watch this on Youtube like P4G because both games are dreading in their JRPG aspects. Definitely better than P4G (Probably until P4R comes out) but behind P5R. I can say that I was blessed enough to be able to play this game
Иногда в голову приходят интересные вещи...
美术音乐质量都很好,烂就烂在这个白开水剧情和神人爬塔环节,没吃过的可以来美美吃一口:) 对了,牢理你什么时候回地球
This happens to be the one time I wish steam had a middle ground option for recommending a game. I have played majority of Persona 4 Golden, played the entirety of the original Persona 5, and majority of Persona 5 Royal. Something about 3 reload seems off to me as a persona game. I don't know if its the incredibly small feeling world map (despite it being a sprawling city in theory), the character interactions feeling shallow compared to the latter (or I guess former since they released before reload) games, or the dark hour feeling repetitive and boring to navigate. The soundtrack for this game feels like it often reuses the same 5 songs for 90% of your in-game day to day activities which probably adds to the feeling of shallow repetitiveness. Based on the glimpses we have gotten of the soon to be released Persona 4 remake, I don't understand why atlus did not put as much effort into this game as they are doing with 4 remake. This has been my least favorite Persona experience I have had so far. Despite the negatives I think the UI for this game is by far the best in the series, the art style they chose for portrait character designs, lighting in certain areas, and certain zones within the dark hour are genuinely beautiful. The combat feels very fluid as well but still there is this feeling scratching the back of my mind that there is just stuff missing from this game that prevents me from fully enjoying it.
