Not really sure what the fuss is with this game and similar titles: they all involve running around like a headless chicken pressing one or two buttons repeatedly, clearing enormous hordes of enemies, and gaining loot that makes you more powerful, but then giving you greater "challenges" that demand that you have more loot to beat them. Like, what exactly is the appeal here? The mechanics are none existent. Maybe these games might actually play well if they reduced the number of enemies on screen and actually demanded that you play them while fully focused. You just do the same thing again and again: every game within this genre feels exactly the same. Same mechanics, same themes, same randomness, same murder-portal-town loop

I don't even know how many times I start going through the company in the beautiful first part of PoE, I think it's an endless vicious circle to come back. compared to the second part, thank you for having the first one...

If you would like to play the best arpg to ever do the genre, here it is. Its complexity is certainly not for everyone, many may be overwhelmed with the plethora of knowledge to gain. I haven't learned it all, and doubt I ever will, but the fact that I know that allows me to have joy at the things I do understand. If you enjoy deckbuilding games, finding synergies feels very similar and you will likely enjoy making your own builds. Id recommend a friend to explore and learn with, as without one you will have no real person to confirm your discoveries with. Enjoy!
