Patent9 - Goddess of Trust

A pulp noir visual novel. A tale of introspection, trust, betrayal, hate, and love. Quite long, WAY longer than expected, not bad long. It is very painfully slow, but if you like noir stories yeah go ahead, not my cup of tea personally. The realism with good photos makes it feel real, but I will say the *ahem* s3x scene was uncomfortable because of how it was shown, once again this is personal. Overall it was not bad. I've seen a few people describe this as the matrix, without the action take that as you will. it's about 4 hrs of reading, I don't think it's worth saying 4 hrs. read it, see how you like it. to the guy who said there was no nudity, you're oblivious.

Story seems interesting and captivating but I don't have the patience for some technicalities. Text appears slooowly letter by letter and requires clicking to show instantly. Game presents one line of text at a time in a frame sliding from the bottom which soon becomes exhausting. Faster reading people will spend more time looking at sliding frames and appearing text than actually reading it. It's unplayable for me.

I started few times and uninstalled it after. Absolutely nothing happens, you just click to get the next frame/line, no options to select. Not even a game. it is just a waste of time.

L'histoire suit Lang, un bio-ingénieur en proie à d'étranges visions d'origine inconnue qui le poussent à construire une série de formes de vie artificielles appelées « Patents », dans le but de créer l'être ultime qui pourrait changer sa vie - pour le meilleur ou pour le pire. Cependant, les forces obscures qui contrôlent la ville ont leurs propres idées concernant le travail énigmatique de Lang, et ont décidé d'utiliser leurs vastes ressources pour faire avancer leur plan. Joignez-vous aux tentatives de Lang pour résoudre le mystère ultime des visions, alors qu'il rencontre une série de femmes souvent intrigantes et séduisantes, mais aussi dangereuses, qui errent dans l'ombre de la ville. Vous obtiendrez 22 succès +/- facilement. Je recommande ce roman obscur de fiction, qui est gratuit pour le plaisir d'une bonne lecture (malheureusement en anglais seulement). Patent9 no es un juego, es una novela visual de misterio y ciencia ficción. Ambientada en un paisaje urbano oscuro, la historia sigue a Lang, un bioingeniero plagado de extrañas visiones de origen desconocido que lo llevan a construir una serie de formas de vida artificiales llamadas "Patentes", con el objetivo de crear el ser definitivo que podría cambiar su vida. Sin embargo, las fuerzas que controlan la ciudad tienen sus propios planes con respecto a su enigmático trabajo y se propusieron utilizar sus vastos recursos para promover su agenda. Lang intentara resolver el misterio final de las visiones mientras se encuentra con una serie de personajes, que acechan en las sombras de la ciudad. La novela solamente se desarrolla sin darnos demasiadas opciones, solo interactuamos en algunos diálogos opcionales y en la manipulación de una máquina ocacionalmente. Por lo que estas opciones definirán la obtención de algunos logros, pero en general, la mayoría se obtiene solo con seguir la lectura. La historia, para mí gusto es poco o interesante, al principio muy densa, aburrida, aunque el final si le da una vuelta de tuerca. No recomiendo instalarlo a menos que quieran obtener los 22 logros de forma facil y en un par de horas y platinar un "juego" más, de paso que es gratuito. Mám veľmi rád čiernobiely noir a mám veľkú slabosť pre hry, v ktoré namiesto animácií využívajú béčkové scény s reálnymi fyzickými hercami (napr. Command and conquer). Aj keď v tejto vizuálnej novele sa nenachádzali žiadne videá, iba "obrázky". Atmosféra bola teda prvotriedna. To čo je v každej vizuálnej novele najdôležitejšie je ale najmä príbeh. Ten rozhoduje, či si ju vážne prečítam alebo kliknem len na skip all. Ten druhej strane bol taký mix realizmu a snového mysticizmu, čo je pre zvolené prostredie odvážna voľba. Pôjdem proti názoru väčšiny komentujúcich, ale vedľajšie zápletky mi pripadali viac atraktívne ako hlavný dej. Vôbec mi neprekážalo, že zaplnili väčšinu času. Záver príbehu - no ten radšej ani nebudem komentovať. Na jednej strane je pomerne predvídateľný, to ale nie je to čo mi prekážalo. Zvolený typ zvratu naozaj nemusím. Otázkou zostáva, ak realita nie je skutočná, tak aký má zmysel sa vôbec angažovať danom v príbehu? Čo mne zase neprekážalo, ale čo niektorí ostatní čo hru vyskúšali nehodnotili kladne je relatívna absencia volieb. Tie sa síce v príbehu ukážu, ale až neskorších kapitolách, čo vyvoláva falošný pocit, že v hre ani nie sú. Subjektívne si myslím, že pôvodne tam ani nemali byť ale tvorca sa ich tam rozhodol dodatočne pridať, kto vie.

Игра «Patent9 - Goddess of Trust» предлагает атмосферный сюжет с элементами триллера и философских размышлений. Графика стильная, а геймплей погружает в мир мистики и загадок. Однако сюжет местами запутан, а диалоги могут показаться излишне мелодраматичными. Несмотря на это, игра оставляет впечатление благодаря оригинальному сценарию и атмосфере. Рекомендую тем, кто ценит психологические драмы и не боится сложных поворотов сюжета.

First of all i played through the whole game and got all the achievements and saw no porn, this is not an adults only game and yes you do have sex with the women but it doesnt show anything, no sex scene and no nudity, it just happens off screen and tells you what happened in the text box, meh, but its free and its unique in using real life photographs of women instead of generic 3d models of women or hand drawn anime or western style drawing of women so credit where credit is do the pictures were very professionally taken and very artistic. i dont know, still disappointed it says its adults only when its not but it is free so check it out i guess lol

Bir pulp noir görsel romanı. Bir iç gözlem, güven, ihanet, nefret ve sevgi hikayesi. Hepsi neon ışıklı, yağmurla ıslanmış deco şehir manzarasında yer alıyor.

I cannot really say what I want to since it would hint at a major spoiler, but what I can tell you is that the story is majorly influenced by two very obvious science-fiction classics. Moreover, underneath the surface, there is quite a deep philosophical underpinning concerning... err... -that-which-I-cannot-say- ... just play it. Worth it.
