About
Party Party Anxiety! was created during Toge Greenhouse 2023, an internal game jam held by Toge Productions to create new, innovative, and experimental games.
Step into the shoes of a person battling social anxiety at a prom party. Meet people and play your cards correctly to respond to their conversation. Play the correct cards to establish relationships or play them wrong and everything will become scarier and haunt your social anxiety even more.
Use conversation cue cards up your sleeves to make connections. Identify and follow your conversation partner's interests. Play card combos to better match the flow and gain the best compatibility rating!
But beware, you only have so much opportunity to strike the best conversation. Play your cards wrong and your partner might haunt your anxiety even more.
Manage and play your cards correctly, and if you can pull through, maybe it's all just in your head and people aren't that scary after all :)
The girl's appearance changing based on your failures or successes is fantastic.
There's not enough but it's already good! I wish it was longer and, more importantly, less repetitive (it's too quick to be a problem, but you'll see the same failure cards over and over), but I had a good time.
Mejorar la ambientación sobre todo en el tutorial que se siente un poco pesado. Fuera de eso todo bien, interesante el concepto.

The concept is cool but I wish we had more settings, like turning off the weird visual effect when the girl talks. It's a very very short game, which I wasn't expecting. I think if some issues got fixed (the settings, some of the grammar) and we could talk to more than one person I would like it a lot more.
It would be properly good if it would be at least a bit longer. The game length is.....I had a "wait that's it?" moment. I suppose my only downvote point is for how long it is so that it may or may not appear more like a waste of time. The core idea could have been really fun and I nearly expected a choice in the beginning. Maybe I'm missunderstood something but it went and threw me to the credits.
fun gameplay, charming graphics, cool idea with a nice execution... It's really creative and I love it. Just waiting for an update with more content
would love to get a full release of this at some point
Interesting exploration of social anxiety through a tiny game jam experiment. Party Party Anxiety! is a short ~15 minute experience with low stakes and card matching game loop. So short it doesn't overstay its welcome, but also so short that it doesn't quite develop into anything. But since it's not really bad and such a small time commitment, it doesn't deserve not recommending it.
