Earth, once bountiful, was nearly depleted of its ability to sustain life. Humankind grew increasingly desperate to find an unlimited source of energy to rely upon. Brilliant minds around the world assembled for the sake of Earth's salvation. At a loss for alternatives, they began experimenting with fission augmented by anti-matter. In their haste, they unleashed catastrophe on an unprecedented scale. Fleeing certain death, the mass exodus of Earth began. This course led to the inception of five parallel streams.

The Earthen, a civilization of those left behind, remained and cultivated a thriving society through patience and perseverance. Protect the earth with unrivaled defensive capabilities. Enforce peace, or use the strength gifted by the cataclysmic priming to dictate the flow of battle.

The Kathari developed groundbreaking enhancements to the human genome deep below the frigid surface of Jupiter's moon, Europa. Copy and clone your way to victory with overwhelming numbers. Field cutting edge genetic science to unleash a whole host of symbiotic units.

The Marcolians, in pursuit of absolute supremacy rose and promptly laid claim to the entire red planet of Mars. Wield lightning fast aggression as well as a plethora of devastating fire support and armored vehicles in your relentless assault.

The Augencore found refuge on their foundry ship Caine-1, augmenting themselves for deep space travel. Utilize the iconic war machines of the Augencore. Pilot mechs into combat or bionically enhance your units through upgrades until none can withstand.

The Shroud, a mysterious presence in the universe– whereabouts currently unknown. Devastate those who oppose through manipulating the battlefield and unleashing powerful late game units.
For 10,000 years each Parallel would advance their way of life far beyond the constraints of Earth. New homes that were once considered fiction, became reality. However, at last, the spark that humankind had kindled on Earth those millennia ago has ignited into the unlimited power source that was promised, calling each Parallel back home. This energy-rich invitation brings new conflict, as each Parallel believes Earth is theirs to claim.

Great TCG for sci-fi fans! The five Parallel factions all have three leader types which significantly affect the way you choose and play cards within a faction. There are also universal cards which can be integrated into any deck. This offers a very broad range of play. There is a lot of complex interactions you can craft as you deck build interacting with the banking system, waste or in the case of the Shroud faction the singularity. This is an excellent TCG for people who want depth. The UI is smooth and looks great and the card art is really nicely done. This game is challenging which makes it interesting and heaps of fun! I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I'm a developer on this game and just want to take a moment to recommend it. The genre is a TCG (Trading Card Game), and has a similar play style to Hearthstone, Magic the Gathering, etc. I think one of the strengths of this game is its imaginative and well fleshed-out universe. We've been doing some last minute testing before our big launch, and there have been some pain points in the login process. I can say it's worth it to push on through any initial frustrations. The team has spend a lot of work doing an overhaul to the visuals of the playing field and the UI, and it's come a long way from its earlier incarnation. If you are into complex strategy, this is a game for you. There are tons of unique cards with dynamic interactions that allow players to mastermind their own strategies. I’ve been playing Parallel since the early beta back in 2023/2024, and seeing it now land on Steam feels genuinely surreal. Even back then, it had something a lot of new games struggle with, it was actually fun. Not “promising” or “has potential”… just a genuinely solid, well designed TCG. The core mechanics were tight, strategic, and rewarding, and you could tell from the start this wasn’t something rushed out the door. What’s impressed me most is the consistency. Over time, the team didn’t just add content, they refined the experience. Balance changes, new cards, evolving metas… everything feels deliberate. The game has grown deeper without becoming overwhelming, which is a hard balance to strike. The lore deserves a mention too. Parallel doesn’t just feel like a collection of cards, it feels like a universe. The paragons (factions), the worldbuilding, the overall sci-fi theme all tie together in a way that gives the game real identity. And honestly, credit to the team. They stuck with it, kept building, kept improving, and stayed focused on making a good game. That kind of long-term commitment shows. Seeing it on Steam now feels like a big moment. especially after the mobile launch, now available on android and IOS, It’s one of those cases where you can say you saw it early, and it’s great to see how far it’s come. If you enjoy TCGs, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Goty
I've been deep in the Parallel TCG rabbit hole for a while now and I think this game deserves way more attention than it gets, especially from TCG players who haven't tried it yet. The art and presentation are legitimately world-class. Every card feels like it belongs in a sci-fi art gallery. The five factions all have distinct visual identities and the lore behind them actually holds up, this isn't just flavor text slapped on cards, there's a real universe here worth exploring. The gameplay has real depth. If you're coming from Magic or Hearthstone you'll find the strategic ceiling here is high. Deck building around the five Parallels gives you a ton of variety, and matches rarely feel like coinflips, good plays are rewarded. The audio/visual in-client experience is surprisingly polished for a game still finding its footing. Cards are voice-acted, animations are clean, and the overall vibe during a match feels premium. Overall though if you love TCGs and sci-fi worldbuilding, Parallel is absolutely worth your time. The core game is genuinely fun independent of all the blockchain stuff, and the team has been actively improving the game month over month with each release. Hope you give it a shot!
Great game, recommend!
I played this when it was in beta and I'm happy to see how it's been refined and polished. Still not perfect but very fun indeed and much improved. I was able to get into a quick match in under a minute which was a nice surprise and I won my first match against a real human player. It was a close game and looking forward to how parallel continues to get better
Game glitching too much and bugging. random disconnect and desyncs. when you come back your units are bugged and cant attack. art is cool but not way to get cards slowly over time. not reccomended. also population is too low for matchmaking to work properly
