This game is very fun. BUT you will not get your horse for a long time (like, more than 50 hours in), so lots of walking, and around 50 hours in all the detailed crafting and skill and weapon upgrading gets really tedious. At that point, I stopped playing.

Super cozy and there's always something to do. The community is pretty great, too.

This game is fun for my friends and I to play together since it's cozy but still full of adventure, which is perfect after a long day of work. We love the unique building that's been added and all the characters are so loveable with their individual personalities and storylines. So glad to see it's been gaining more expansions and has never become a pay to play. You can enjoy the game completely free and buy things like cosmetics if you want but it never bars you from story or quest progression. We've put so much time into this game we felt it's only right to put some money back in and get cute pets and outfits for us which helps us feel more immersed into the world. There's so many outfit choices free and not that you can literally make your characters unique and part of the world you create.

I'm so lucky to have stumbled upon this!! I never play any games other than roblox, but i randomly downloaded this and it's the best game ive ever played. The best part is definitely the relationships we can build with NPC's. One of the negative things though must be how unobvious some quests are and require us to google the info on how to finish them- most just require information that new players have no idea about. I also feel like the game pushes us to find friends and to play with other players, but as a person who hates socializing, it's annoying how it's forcing that upon me. Some people prefer to play alone and there shouldn't be anything wrong with that. I feel like we also could have different weathers, not just sunny all the time. Besides that, everything else is great! I really hope palia gets more popular because it deserves it!!

Palia is one of the best cozy games I have played in a really long time. It never gets boring as there is always something to do, quests to fulfil and community events to participate in. All aspects of the game is super easy to learn and incredibly beginner friendly. I play with an Xbox controller and the actions work perfectly fine. It is all online based, so you are constantly in servers with different people also playing along, however, what I will say is 95% of the time the people you are in a server with are incredibly helpful and great to talk to. They are always there to help, communicate call findings and if you need help with a certain item, you can request it and most of the time somebody will gift it to you! I spend hours on the game just grafting and getting some really cool loot. The customisation freedom of your housing plot and house itself is rather extensive, and you do get quite a lot of space as well to build on as you level up throughout the game! The only things I will say that I wish Palia had (maybe some point in the future it could be a possibility) are the following: - Item recycling: A lot of, if not all, decor items you craft or get gifted through NPCs, you cannot sell nor recycle them into materials, This also includes workbench gear such as, saw mills, smelters, repair benches and so forth. I think this would be an exceptional feature as even though your decor storage is unlimited, for crafting items like the saw mills etc, you constantly have to buy crafting licenses which can become incredibly expensive throughout the game. Its a very small thing, but I guess the more you progress, the more helpful it would be. - More Soil Space: You can only buy up to 8 patches of soil from Badruu, being able to have it as a constant option to buy at a reasonable in-game price would be really cool! - Dynamic Weather/Weather related items/hunts: It's always sunny in Palia (lol) which is great, but I feel dynamic weather changes/seasonal changes would be a really cool feature to see, alongside weather/seasonal type animals, bugs and foraging to collect. At the moment it is just day and night, which you can still of course catch some incredibly animals, bugs and foraging. - Starter Clothing/Customisation options: As Palia is a free game, in order to change your characters look will be using real money to buy packs/store coins to get what you desire. There is a great variety of choice within the store for all interests, however, can be quite expensive. With that being said would love more freedom with the free customisation, especially in terms of colour-ways, hats, glasses, beards, hair etc. Also would be cool if you could change the colour of your glider and tools (even if it's basic colours)
