Boring..

I have enjoyed playing this game so far, easy controls duck and cover game. I will play again it is the type of game you can drop in and out, I don't always have the time for long gaming sessions.
2 years later I got back in to this game and I thought to myself, they most likely fixed the drop to black on the headset (eg: it feels like the headset is not receiving any image data, but the display still works after you die). Guess I was wrong. The problem is still there and for some reason for me it is always in the same level (3rd one, the one where the clock is ticking and it usually happens when the clock hits the 2:30 mark). I tried everything from my end: power settings, changing steam settings for video, turning on/off aliasing, swapping cables, disable / enable monitor you name it. And the weird thing is, this is the only game in my library that has this (common) issue. And I have plenty of VR titles in my list (+90). Then I started to dig into the issue, and guess what: I am not the only one with this issue (see community page for instance). And I have also read reports about updates that being promised yet never came (last news update is from 2018, and then things turned silent. That should say enough for now). And last, there is a review somewhere on steam here that it states the issue won't be fixed. So it time to abandon ship on this one, or if you really want to play this game make sure you get a good set of night vision goggles that go with it. When the issue gets fixed I might give this review another thought (and thus change it), but since I don't think things will change I will leave at this for now.
