Gran juego de terror. La atmósfera es opresiva y los escenarios tienen un diseño brutal. Te saca sustos cuando menos te lo esperas, en ningún momento te deja tranquilo, manteniéndote en constante tensión, y eso está genial. Te hace apretar el anastasio para que no te alcancen, haciéndote sentir pura adrenalina. La historia es perturbadora e inquietante al tocar tema con religión, en fin es una experiencia que vale totalmente la pena jugar.

В сравнении с первой частью посложнее, и даже пострашнее. И гг не немой и интересный. Полноценный обзор писать впадлу, придется поверить на слово (У меня не 3, а гораздо больше часов в зеленом стиме если что) Кстати игру хейтят подписваники, которые не поняли концовку из-за невнимательности к деталям, и в целом не фанаты жанра, мол "уу геймплей кака, нужно постоянно убегать и все". А ниче, что это Outlast и он всегда таким был до появления Trials?

[/h3] ༺━━━━━━━━━━✦━━━━━━━━━━༻ ✦ [b]A worthy sequel[/b] ✦ ◆ [b]Outlast 2 is another excellent horror game and a very good sequel, although I still prefer the first one slightly.[/b] The story pulled me in almost immediately, and the school flashbacks were some of my favourite parts. They have a completely different atmosphere from the main setting, but they're just as unsettling. ◆ I also really liked the ending. [b]It leaves you with more questions than answers,[/b] which won't work for everyone, but here it really fit the story and gave me plenty to think about afterwards. ༺━━━━━━━━━━✦━━━━━━━━━━༻ ✦ [b]Running isn't so easy anymore[/b] ✦ ◆ Unlike the first game, Outlast 2 spends a lot more time in open areas. That means it's not quite as claustrophobic, but personally I didn't mind. The chases are actually more intense because enemies can [b]crawl, squeeze through gaps and jump over obstacles[/b]. You can't rely on the same tricks as easily, so some pursuits last longer and feel much more dangerous. ◆ One of my favourite moments was the first time I had to hide in a cornfield while cultists searched for me with flashlights. [i]That scene is going to stick with me for a long time.[/i] ༺━━━━━━━━━━✦━━━━━━━━━━༻ ✦ [b]Not enough memorable monsters[/b] ✦ ◆ My biggest problem is the lack of truly memorable antagonists. Martha is a great presence and easily the standout, but I wish she'd been given more time. [b]Outlast 2 doesn't really have anyone who reaches the level of Chris Walker or Trager from the first game.[/b] Those characters were terrifying, but also memorable in a way that most of the enemies here simply aren't. ༺━━━━━━━━━━✦━━━━━━━━━━༻ ✦ [b]Open spaces, linear paths[/b] ✦ ◆ There's also a bit of a contradiction in the level design. The game often looks much more open than the first Outlast, but [b]the actual paths are still very linear.[/b] Quite often there's only one way forward or one route to escape, which can make the environments feel more like corridors with a bigger skybox. ༺═──────────────═༻ ✦ [b]Outlast 2 doesn't quite reach the heights of its predecessor, but it's still a fantastic horror game.[/b] The story, school sequences, improved chases and atmosphere make it an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoyed the first game.
